Eden Resort

The layout of the resort is unusual. Apartment/villas are laid out around a large area, which can be driven around and there is loads of free parking outside each accommodation type. The reception area has a bar and restaurant included within it, which is a separate building to accommodation. The buildings are all painted in various pastel type colours making a very pretty resort. If you had one of the apartments at the far end of the resort, it’s still less than 10 mins walk to reception/restaurant/bar. We had an apartment with 2 double bedrooms and there was also a double sofa bed in the lounge, though we didn’t use that. The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. It was cleaned daily, beds made daily and towels changed daily if needed. In the kitchen there was a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, lots of cutlery, knives etc. A nice touch would’ve been some washing up liquid. We didn’t make much use of the kitchen other than making some drinks as we were all inclusive. There was an en-suite bathroom and a separate main bathroom. However, there was only 1 hairdryer, which not ideally was in the main bathroom. So if there were 6 of you getting ready and several of you need a hairdryer, there could be a wait while you wait for people to finish in the bathroom. There was lots of hanging space in the main bedroom, only half the amount in the second bedroom as one half of the wardrobe was locked (possibly used for storage). There was no chest of drawers or dressing table in either bedroom, so there was no real surface space to put anything down on in the bedrooms. There were bedside tables, but they were small and low (basically one drawer with no legs). A silly point, but I really missed not having something to put things down on easily! Beds were comfortable. The main bedroom and lounge opened onto a patio area with a sun loungers and table and chairs. We went in March which was out of season. The all inclusive did get busy at times. I can’t imagine how it would cope in full season when at full capacity. Although we always found something to eat and never went hungry, I think that with such a well equipped kitchen in the apartment, if I went back to the resort, I’d go self catering. You certainly won’t be missing much with the all inclusive drinks. They were ok, but the cocktails were disappointing. The pool area looked nice, but we never used it as it wasn’t really hot enough when we were there. The pool bar was also closed when we were there. All the staff we came across were friendly and happy to help. Luckily we’d booked a hire car for the duration of our stay, which was we picked up in Albufeira. It’s only about €4 for their equivalent of an Uber into Albufeira. It would be quite a bit of a walk all along very busy roads, so could be a walked, but not the nicest walk and very busy roads. The resort is a bit outside of the main part of Albufeira, so if we hadn’t had a car, we’d have had to use

Wonderful Resort we have visited 4 times and gets better each year. Perfect for families with young children, the villas are very clean and spacious, food always beautiful and the snack bar is handy for the kids. The pools are perfect for our family and the kids area/pools keep our children busy. The staff make this place amazing, Victoria in Reservations always a pleasure to deal with when booking, the reception staff always so friendly, the restaurant/bar staff always so busy and work very hard and nothing is ever a problem and a big thank you to Vanessa and Cintia in the Entertainment/Kids club they make Eden a real fun place and our children adore them not forgetting Eddie the Turtle. This is the 3rd time we have visited Eden resort and the place is perfect for a young family. The facility are modest but just perfect. The stars of the show are Ruben and Diana from the entertainment team and John in the restaurant. Now we’ve been there 3 times, it may be our last visit but it will be very easy to go again just because of the wonderful team providing memories that my family will remember forever. Thank you to all at Eden. You guys are amazing. One tiny piece of feedback. Please change shower heads in rooms. Easy, cheap fix which would make things much better.

We travelled to Portugal with four children to celebrate a 50th birthday. On this occasion we pushed the boat out and booked an Adam & Eve villa. This proved to be a great decision. The villa was superb, spacious comfortable and everything we needed. The heated pool ensured the kids and adults had lots of quality family time and plenty of fun. We also enjoyed the main pool area and lunch at the pool bar. Location suited us as slightly out of town but with a free shuttle into town and the taxi service using Bolt app ensured we could travel outside resort hassle free and pretty cheap. The only downside was the chaos in the restaurant at times. We had read the reviews and expected it to be busy at times but as hard as the staff worked to keep things organised and well prepared the layout just seemed to create many issues with people moving in every direction trying to get food, meanwhile kids trying to get food from kids area had to pass through everyone else. Then as it got busier we got turned away from restaurant and given a buzzer to come back when table became available. On one occasion we had to wait (along with many others) for quite some time to get dinner. No ideal after a busy day with four young kids. In saying all that the food was first class, numerous choices at every meal and all top notch. Something for all tastes. All in all it was a great resort just let down slightly by then dining arrangements.

From start to finish we had an amazing time. The staff, the facilities, everything just flowed and was relaxing and nothing was ever an issue. The only down point was the air con in the whole resort was not working. Which made sleeping at night difficult as it was too hot. Other than this it was 5 *

Just back from a weeks holiday with my 3 children (20,15, 12) and can’t praise the Eden resort enough. There is something for everyone from the shuttle to a big mall and to albufeira, indoor pool, spa, fire shows, live animal shows, bands, kids clubs, football, tennis and that is just to name a few! Food was great couldn’t find fault with any meal, plenty of choice (even for fussy eaters)! Apartment was spotless, great size and facilities. Also they have villas that have private pools. Talking of pools the adult pool is great if you want to chill, main pool fab for families and entertainment with background music and the splash pool for smaller kids to keep them entertained. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely go back.

The only improvements for Eden Resort that I would say is that the food needs to be hotter at dinner in the Pecadhilllo restaurant and some of the meat is not cooked tender enough and can be quite chewy. The food at lunch in Pecadillho restaurant is warmer than the food at dinner, but the food at both lunch and dinner needs to be hot. The food in Eden Caffe also needs to be warmer especially the burgers, keebabs and hot dogs. Otherwise this is an excellent hotel the apartments are perfect and very clean, the maids work very hard and our apartment was cleaned mostly daily. It is a village not a resort, we were amazed at how vast the resort is. Me and my family will definitely, go back to Eden Resort.

fantastic vacation at eden resort. We were delighted with the variety of food, it was quite tasty, with the amount of snacks available for this time of year. When we arrived, the pool bar and children's water playground were closed but a few days later they opened and it was great to have these spaces ready to welcome us for fun. spa is small but clean and clutter-free. Perfect cleanliness in the rooms.... just a few cobwebs in the room but I think it's due to the fact that the rest of the floor is left with a lot of garden around the house. For an apartment, this is without a doubt one of the most spacious I've ever been to. the hotel has many green spaces where you can see some very beautiful gardens. Every morning we were at the kids club participating in all the activities with our youngest daughter. she loved the kids club and all the activities. The space is very beautiful and very well organized and clean....it was something that my wife found very interesting, we've been to other kids clubs and they were always dirty or a mess....but this one at Eden Resort surpassed it positively .....an incredible space and with even more incredible entertainers.....my daughter cried the day we left because she wanted to say goodbye to Vanessa and Caterinna from the kids club but we weren't able to....poor thing It breaks my heart that she became so attached to the people at the kids club.....I think that shows how incredible these people are. My eldest son enjoyed playing football with the boy and Vannessa in the mornings....but there was nothing else to do on vacation.....I think it's a bit boring for these ages that there are no games in the pool or at the resort except for the activities he participated in at the kids club with us as a family, which were a lot of fun. Without a doubt, a very good hotel for families with small children and for those who want to relax....there is a pool just for adults....but those who want activities during the day or for teenagers will not be the best hotel. At night there is a mini disco and some shows with contract entertainers, I think....as I have never seen them in kids club activities. a place to definitely return to in 2026....and I will be very happy here at this hotel.
