Santa Eulalia Hotel & Spa

From the welcome in the door, and the beautiful smell that hits you when you walk on. Staff were friendly & welcoming. Rooms were lovely, absolutely spotless, pool area was spotless. Breakfast was lovely and the daily cocktails where a lovely bonus. Coffee was delish also and at 2 euro a bargain.

Loved this hotel! Would 100% recommend! 3 of us Stayed in a suite, very spacious, rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel in general was lovely and clean and the pool area was exactly what was needed, plenty of sun loungers and never had any trouble getting one. Can rent towels for the pool from the spa for €20 deposit which is returned once towels are returned. Hotel is located close to everything, a few cafes/restaurants close by and a spar and supermarket. Also only about a 15 minute walk to the main ***** in albufeira with plenty of restaurants and bars. There is also a small snack bar in the hotel, nice light lunch meals for during the day and a nice selection of cocktails. The hotel is located close to a beach, which was lovely for a morning walk, there were no sun loungers on the beach but unsure if this is just the time of year. Some bad points, walls in rooms were very thin, could hear people on the corridor and babies/children crying in the next room from early in the morning each morning we were there. Also around the pool area there were some days groups of people would be playing with footballs and taking over the pool with games and hitting other guests with the ball (accidentally) but it made it difficult for other people to use the pool, this was said to members of staff but they were unsure what to do about the situation. Although this was annoying, it would not discourage me from staying again.

Stayed for 7 days All I can say is we had the best time here, staff were amazing and very attentive to myself. Being vegetarian can be difficult when going away but once they knew they made sure that I new what was what and the chef even offered additional food when selection was less so. All areas were spotless only thing was rooms need more attention with beds being changed more often. Reception staff were fabulous, spoke kindly and were helpful in every way. Bar and restaurant staff you couldn’t ask any more from them either just the most loveliest people. The pool area was lovely also and never a fight to get a sun bed as there is also a garden area with beds if not wanting to be near the pool. I will be returning here as soon as I can to this hotel and the area it is in. Also there’s a fab bar just up the road which is great also it’s all red outside.

We've just finished our family holiday staying here. The greeting we had was second to none. Carlos at the front desk did a great job of welcoming us with a huge smile and loads of local knowledge and tips of where to go. Our suite was what we expected for the price we paid. It was a decent size space for our family of four (2 kids - 13 and 10). We never used the kitchenette which was basic but the fridge had good use as we were able to buy plenty of water from convenience stores nearby. We paid half board and were not disappointed with what was served. Breakfast was the generic "full English" and continental options but all seemed good quality and saw us throughout the day. Dinner was decent for the price we paid. The main course buffet was different each day and was of a good quality and range (meat and fish options). We found the staff really friendly, especially Miguel and Emanuel who welcomed us each time we went into the dining area with fist bumps and smiles. The pool was great and a good size for all guests who used it. There were odd occasions when groups of lads used the pool but there was an unsaid mutual respect. There were larger groups of party goers that stayed at the hotel but, for the most part of it, they went by unnoticed. I gave 4/5 due to two things: The first was where our room was situated in the hotel. I appreciate that we were probably put in that room to be put of the way and possibly away from some of the bigger parties in the hotel but I wished that some of the doors our end were in use as we had to walk round the whole hotel to access the dining room and pool and it got a little arduous doing this for a week. The second was due to being woken up once at 0200 hours by a couple of drunk girls vomiting in the hallway. Again, I appreciate this can't be helped by the hotel. What I didn't appreciate was having to walk past it all in the morning on our way to breakfast. On reporting it to reception they said they had sent a cleaner to clean it and that they were sending another cleaner to clean it again... That is something the hotel could've got on to a little quicker considering we went down at 0900 hours for breakfast. Despite these two things we'd highly recommend Santa Eulalia hotel & Spa. We've loved our week here and having this hotel as a base has been lovely. The hotel itself is in a good place for eatery's and the beach. We never used the Spa facilities so I can't comment on this.

A GREAT HOTEL!! We love this hotel and thanks to the amazing staff who always go the extra mile to ensure our stay is comfortable & enjoyable. The location is perfect, very central and only a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. With beech’s and supermarket's close by, you couldn’t ask for a better location. We have stayed at other hotels but we keep coming back to the Santa Eulalia. It never disappoints. Can’t wait to go back in March 🌞🌴

This is a great central place to stay the friendly staff who went above and beyond in every way were so wonderful. The suites were luxurious and comfortable with everything you could need. The food was also good with great choices

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Myself and my boyfriend had the misfortune of staying here for 5 nights (18/10/23-23/10/23) for our holiday to Albufeira. When we arrived to our room we were so disappointed. The hotel room was very run down, dirty and unkept - not at all what the rooms appear to be on the website. The leather headboard was ripped, the couch was filthy dirty and there was mold growing on the table. Even the lamp shades were filthy. We asked for a different room straight away and were told there was no available room for us. To make matters worse, we got no apology, no compensation, no complimentary tokens/gifts. Nothing. The receptions staff had no solutions. I asked to speak the manager who eventually offered an alternative room that we could move into the next day. This room was not much better, with a window that needed fixing everyday as the seal was broken and the wind was keeping us awake at night. This hotel is NOT 4 star. This hotel is maybe a 2 star. This hotel was a disaster from start to finish and I would NOT recommend to anyone. 0/10 from us.

Well worth it for the price. If the price is more than average maybe not worth the splurge as it is all basis apart form the modern reception area. The bar is nice but not always fully manned. The cleaners start nice and early so no need for an alarm clock. The beds are very comfortable. Location is excellent Uber always a minute away.

This hotel has really lovely staff who worked hard to make us - and particularly my young children - feel valued & cared for. The food is good - with a decent buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The spa pool is relaxing & it’s a short walk from a lovely - and very quiet beach. A particular thanks to Miguel & Giovanna who went the extra mile in their care for our children.
