A very neglected hotel, most of the rooms are worn out and lack cleanliness conditions. My family and I booked for three days, when I arrived I found only the receptionist as if the hotel was deserted, the receptionist was very polite especially after I found the room in a miserable condition, as he gave me another room, although it was no less bad than the first, but it was on the lower floor and gave direct access to the pool, the rest of the workers were very polite and helpful, but the hotel is in a catastrophic condition and needs comprehensive maintenance.

Don't book this hotel thinking it's a 4star because it is far from it. If it wasn't for the great gym underneath it would be a 2star. I have stayed here in the past & the rooms weren't that great then they all need updating, fixing & a good scrub. We booked a disabled room this time & the smell upon entry was stale so that wasn't a great start. Shower was broke kept dropping & fell on my face marking it. Cleaners kept taking our towels then leaving only 3 when there was 4 of us then taking hours to get another one so plans on going out were always delayed this happened 3 times in the 5 days we stayed. We couldn't get out the front entrance with my sons wheelchair cause someone kept parking over the disabled area so we couldn't use the entrance intended for us which meant we had to go back through reception on steps to get back around to the front. Pool area the AstroTurf is a trip hazard nearly stacked it a few times so I was always looking out for my son while he was on his crutches. Reception staff didn't smile made no effort to really accommodate us, bar staff were great, helpful & friendly. Basically it a dump & really isn't worth it.

Came with a group of 15 others having been moved from a hotel closer as they didn't accept groups. We had a great experience here. All rooms face towards the pool so feels enclosed, has tennis courts and a small 6 a side cage. We went self catering so paid for all our drinks and snacks at the pool bar which to be fair was a great experience. Rooms exactly what we needed , although air con didn't work and toilet was continously flushing but they came and fixed that when asked. Check in slow but got there eventually. Used uber to get in and out of the town. Amazing pool and very chilled experience

I stayed here in September 2023, and although I did enjoy my stay, there were various issues from the start right up until the end. When we arrived, it was nighttime, and all the lights in the walkways were out, so we were trying to find our room in the dark. Then when we got to the room the phone didn't work, and their were ants in our room. To the hotels credit, though, they did give us an alternative room straight away with no qualms. However, in that room, the shower wouldn't stay on the holder for it, and there was a table leg broken, but they were minor issues, so I didn't bother to report. Paid a deposit for a remote, but the TV didn't work. Again, I didn't bother to complain because I would get the deposit back anyway, and I wasn't really there to watch TV, so it was no big deal. However, on the last morning, my air conditioning unit spontaneously combusted and caused a huge fire on my patio with just glass doors between us and the fire. There were no smoke alarms, to alert anyone to the fire, so if I had put that on the nigjt before then fallen asleep like I did every other night, I might not be here writing this now. After notifying reception of the fire, two cleaners came in with a fire extinguisher to put it out. Don't get me wrong, there was no harm done on this particular occasion, but it could have been much worse, and I would not feel safe enough to stay again. The hotel immediately provided us with a new room after the fire until check out, but we did not deem it necessary, although we were grateful for the offer. They also provided us with complimentary food and drinks as a result too which was good of them. The hotel was also advertised as a 4 star, and whilst it might have been once, it is not any longer as it has fallen into disrepair and only has one maintenance man for the whole hotel. There was also no entertainment, games rooms, shuttle buses etc as advertised. WiFi did not work unless in reception, and the hotel is on the outskirts of Albufeira, so you will need Uber or taxis to get around as nothing is within walking distance. Despite all of this, we made the best of it and still had fun. The best parts about this hotel were that despite the disrepair, it was very clean and staff were all very well mannered, friendly and helpful at all times.

I'm here now. 1st of all the hotel is a 10 euro taxi ride to albuferia where all the restaurants and bars and beach is. It would take you 45/50 minutes to walk there. All the rooms have a pool view and are spacious and very adequate for your needs. There are a few things a little bit worn and broken our fridge door doesn't shut properly and there's paint peeling on balcony. The pools are clean but they look dirty from high up because there are tiles missing on bottom of pool but it's a big pool and very clean. There's a pool man who comes around and cleans and there's a bar open 10-6 and the man is very cheerful and smiley. No fighting for a sun lounger but there would be if the hotel was fully booked. This is definitely a 3 star hotel and I have no complaints for my 5 stay night here.

The place is an utterly disgrace and should be pulled down before someone gets seriously hurt, it was filthy dirty and we had to move rooms twice then left after the first night. Avoid like the plague!!!

Used to be a very nice hotel 15 years ago but it has been let run down over the years,The sofas are as hard as nails as are the beds,The wifi is up and down and sometimes non existent,In the apartment were massive cracks in the walls, totally unexplained we were booked in for a 7 night package with travel Republic but checked out after 3 nights as the hardness of the beds and sofa had caused pain in my hips which I am still suffering from,I will never go there again

We stayed here for 10 nights self catering. A fully honest review..the hotel is a little far out if you have kids as we do, so walk to old town a little too far (though uber reasonable) and there is no shop at or near hotel. Also little evening entertainment. BUT the hotel is lovely, rooms spacious, clean, pool bar great value, staff lovely, not too busy but stuff on if want to take part. The pool was very clean and the animation team were outstanding...Tony in particular made our holiday...the kids, esp our little mermaid loved him. I would not hesitate recommending this place. Great holiday

Overall, we have had a really nice, relaxed week at this hotel. No rushing for sunbeds, or queuing for food at the restaurant or snack bar. Infact, sometimes we went for a meal to be one of the only people there. The kids loved that and loved serving themselves and getting their own drinks etc. The food wasnt amazing, I suspect the fruit was canned and the options were limited but we certainly didnt go hungry. The pool bar was better for simple kids meals like toasties and chips (but this wasnt available on the all inclusive plan while the restaurant was open 12 - 3). Staff were friendly enough. Kids snacks were little tubs of icecream... other icecream /lollies needed paying for but the tubs were in the plan as were all drinks. We were quite happy with that. The kids loved it. Our disappointment was that there were many of the facilities advertised that were either broken or missing completely like no shop at all on site and being a taxi ride away from any shops, this was a pain! (Costing us (15e each way - but we needed a 6 seater) There was no children's club (but there were activities round the pool each day - water polo - volley ball etc) not suitable for our little ones but something. The pool area has potential to be gorgeous but is in a state of disrepair. The grass area was hazardous, especially round the baby pool, and the tiles and pool surround were broken all over. The surround of the pool was also really dirty and the water shoots didnt work either, the steps to get out of the deep end were removed on our first day and not replaced so getting out was down at the far end hot footing back to sunbed! (Unless you climbed out... kids did quite easily but I cut my knees doing this). Despite this, we looked past this and still really enjoyed our days at the pool. The kids park had several broken parts and the golf area was too broken in different bits. (To the point you couldn't really play this) the games room was mainly out of order. The evening entertainment didn't start at all until 9.30pm ish but we didn't see much of it as the kids didn't last that long with nothing else to do so it was early nights for us. The rooms were adequate but dated... our aircon broke, they fixed it the following day (after a very warm night) but it broke again very quickly. Kids beds were the sofas and a 3rd bed was rolled into the lounge needing to be put away daily so we could use the space. Deposits are taken for most things... tv remote (20e) safety deposit box (25e) tennis racket hire (10e). So have some spare cash for this if you want it. There is a gym that looks well used.. (not sure if locals use it, but husband was really impressed with the equipment and wished he'd brought his gym gear, but was expecting a typical token hotel gym but this looked top notch) Overall.... the hotel could do with some serious tlc but has the potential to be fantastic.. the chilled out vibe was worth it for us, escaping hustle and bustle and was just what we

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, there is no kids entertainment on a night, hardly nothing only singers which is all in Portuguese, the pool was absolutely disgusting with all black algae all in around the sides inside the pool, no chlorine and doesn't get cleaned, we went all inclusive and the only bar is outside next too the pool which only 2 options for snacks burger or hotdog, the restaurant was very poor the food was cold every single day, and only 2 choices of food, only thing was kids menu was pizza and chips, there is no onside shop and the nearest shop is 3 miles away!!! The room key stopped working 7 times, everything is broken bottom of the kids pool is all cracked and missing tiles, the only good thing was the sunbeds and the bar staff were lovley. We will not be returning and it definitely was not worth what we paid especially for all inclusive. Everything was absolutely shocking.

I wasn’t supposed to come to Algarve, and this was a really good option on short time, and me and my family all loved it! We went to the panoramic restaurant on the last day! And it’s really good! You should try! You’ll love it! Congratulations to the staff!

I can only assume that there aren’t many reviews as people only put on bad experiences, we have spent a week here and absolutely loved it! We have stayed in a one bed apartment which was lovely and big, immaculately clean and stepped right out into the pool area! Staff have been so friendly and maids every day to clean the apartment, only £5 Uber into albufeira old town and £3 to a very large Aldi for supplies - we cannot fault it! Lovely pool bay which is really reasonably priced and lovely big pool, there is also a large leisure centre on site with hun and indoor pool which is great too. I would highly recommend it and please don’t be put off by the lack of recent positive reviews as it’s great!! We were actually the only English family here, mainly Spanish and Portuguese which meant there was absolutely no scrambling for sun beds in the daytime and the vibe round the pool is just so chilled out, lovey entertainment staff round the pool Offering various games but not pestering you if you want to just chill out - we will definitely be back

A Group of 7 golfers arrived and was greeted by what I can only describe as a head matron type of person, regimentally told all the rules on how to behave in the hotel. The rooms are clean but dated, the bar severs small plastic glasses and only 2 beers per person even though all-inclusive, inferior quality drinks but you can pay extra for nicer ones even though all-inclusive, food to be fair is ok to good but no snakes in between meal times. The hotel lists 2 bars but only has 1, entertainment nightly but has none, and never enough tables to sit in the evenings, staff ok but would rather be somewhere else. Will never be staying here again. Far better hotels in the Algarve. we're sort of sold a dummy by the golf tour operator. To sum up, only 3 days to go to get out of this crappy place.
