Was a good location for what we wanted to see. Only complaint was towels put on sunbeds and then not used. Staff friendly and well equipped apartment

We are currently staying here for 10 days, really was unsure as never been here before BUTwill definitely come back and recommend. Accommodation lovely, spacious and clean, outside area lovely and clean, indoor the same. Had a few days we’re there were noisy lads but the staff soon stopped that lol. Staff are fantastic, ladies who look after the cleaning are amazing. The place is a must for anyone been to Albufira for 6 years on the run and this place is definitely the best, blows any of the MGM hotels out the water

Booked this hotel stay as part of an EasyJet holiday package for my wife and I. The hotel is in a great location which puts it within easy walking distance to all amenities in the new town area. The tourist train (stop 4) is about 600mtrs away and saves a lot of walking. The hotel itself is a little tired as you’d expect due to its age and general deterioration but it was undergoing some external paintwork while we visited. Rooms are adequate and clean. Kitchen has oven, microwave, kettle and fridge / freezer. Plenty of hot water from the shower too. Beds were firm (some may find them a bit hard). Didn’t need to use the air conditioner as it gets quite cool at night. The kitchen, living area and bathroom are situated on the ground level whilst the bedroom is up a set of stairs to the first floor. The steps between floors could be an issue for anyone with walking difficulty or mobility issues so please be aware of this. There is a clothes drier on the balcony (TIP: bring a few clothes pegs to save any clothes being blown off). We stayed for 4 nights and our towels were changed on 2 occasions. A room safe is available and it’s free to use. Just ask at reception desk for the lock and key. The only dissatisfaction we had was when a group of lads were staying above our apartment and were very noisy (shouting and dragging furniture around throughout the night) After the second night we complained to the hotel manager and he sorted our issue out by having a word with the lads. They have a storage area on the premises where you can leave any luggage if you have a late flight and are checking out earlier in the day.

We stayed here for a week in February. The location is good, close to restaurants and shops. The staff were kind and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and clean. However they could do with a bit of sprucing up. The beds were fine but the pillows are very lumpy. We used the indoor pool & jacuzzi which were lovely. Great value for money.

Just returned from our 3rd visit to Ouratlantico. Complex clean and the staff friendly. We decided to eat in a couple of times and found the cooker was tired and could do with being updated. The cooking utensils tired too. That being said we had just booked to return next year.

We have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel. I was optimistic over booking with some of the reviews I had seen, we had nothing to worry about! Check in was very easy! We had a lovely surprise when we got to our room to see our top balcony looked out to the sea and had sun loungers! The room was well set out and clean. There was no issue at all getting a sun lounger around the pool! Our daughter loved the indoor pool and was nice for her to be able to enjoy the pool in a cooler environment. Hotel is located close to the strip but not too close! All in all we enjoyed our stay, we didn’t encounter any drunken behaviour or noise. Would we return? Yes we would for a couple of nights but we wouldn’t use this hotel for our main two week holiday.

Rooms got broken into on the ground floor. All money got taken. Manager spoke English but when raised my concerns with theft he decided he didn’t understand English. Please be aware they tried to get into 5 of our friends rooms only succeeded to get into one but took all the cash.

This was my first time in Portugal, my daughter and myself travelled to albuferia and Ouratlantico with my in laws who have been coming for 20 years, on arrival we were met by Kristina a lovely lady who greeted us warmly, we were in a studio which in itself was perfect for us,comfy if firm beds,air conditioning which we really needed as the temps while we were there were high 30,s+, little kitchen perfect for our cooking while there what little we did, great bathroom,shower exceptional,having a hairdryer in a bathroom being English is slightly unnerving though😄,the pools were great, the little coffe/bar good, a little convenience shop area in reception for basics especially bottled water which we go through rapidly, the majority of guests were young girls and lads 18-25,so although yes they enjoyed there selves which I would never complain about, they could be a little noisy coming home of an evening(3/4/5) in the morning but it’s their holiday too,the manager Rua and his wife are lovely nothing too much trouble at all would be nice to see them again all the staff were really helpful, Albuferia is delightful, the beach gorgeous, variety of restaurants is great something different every evening, the old town is beautiful thoroughly enjoyed it,got to know quite a few of the locals in the family run bars and restaurants, a lovely Italian at the top of cardiac hill and a great Indian just outside ouratlantico both of which I’d recommend,overall I’ve had a fabulous holiday in the Algarve I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would return in a heartbeat thank you Portugal 🇵🇹

Just had a long weekend at this hotel and apart from a terrible checking in experience, it was pretty good overall. It is well positioned for bars and restaurants and rooms although basic are more than adequate. Pool is great and staff in general were very friendly and accommodating. At the initial check-in the bald headed man with glasses very rudely demanded 100 Euros cash deposit off each person prior to giving us our rooms. Yes we where six gentlemen in total but three over 55 and three almost 30. I said I didn't have 100 Euros in cash and he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was an ATM near the main road. I understand the need to take deposits off groups of young guys and girls, but not three middle age guys who are nearing retirement age and certainly not in the manor it was demanded. If he would have said I am sorry, but the management require a deposit to be paid with groups of men only and then said we can keep a hold on your card for 600 Euro's until check-out and we ensure everything is order, I would have willingly passed him my card and thought nothing more of it. The thing that annoyed me even more was that when we actually checked out yesterday, they just returned the 100 Euros without even checking the room. I rarely leave reviews, but thought with a small change in hotel policy maybe other guests visiting will not have such a bad first impression. It should also be noted, that the 100 Euro deposit was not mentioned at the time of booking. The hotel is basic overall, but more than adequate and I would potentially return and recommend to other guests.

Had 2 cockroaches, don’t tell you it’s a 100 euro cash deposit, no fun allowed at hotel balls not allowed balcony and outside bit quite nice, fresh towels and stuff daily, serve decent food

This is a really great hotel/ apartment. Very close to all amenities , while being in a quiet area. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the apartment was lovely. Beach is 5 minutes away and staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.

This is a great place to stay. It is very central with lots going on around it. Very peaceful considering it's location. The apartment rooms were large and very well equipped. There was everything you needed in a self catering apartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaners came everyday to see if you needed anything replaced. It was clean and the outside was very well kept. I would definitely recommend here. The only small negative was that our room had a leak in the ceiling which wasn't surprising after all the rain. I could have asked to be moved, but I had already unpacked and overall it wasn't a problem.
