Had a pleasant stay staff are super friendly and helpful.good size sun terraces . Quite a lot of steps . Close to oura and olhos da agua where things are more lively. Good transport links buses taxi's.. tuc tuc was good fun . Good price🌞

Do listen to bad reviews absolutely the 2nd worst hotel in albuferia cleaning is appalling no self catering essentials for cleaning or personal hygiene coachroaches in hall way and room bird poo all over patio area kitchen essentials dirty and musty kitchen sink cracked bath filthy the list is endless

The hotel is very, very tired. In disrepair. Day/Night 1 - On arrival we noticed how ran down the room was. Lights hanging off the wall, broken chairs on the balcony. Ripped curtains, cigerette burns and ground in stains on the bedding. Wardrobe doors hanging off. We realised the balcony door to the bedroom wouldn't lock, so my daughter didn't want to sleep alone. She's 9, she didn't feel safe. Couldn't do much about anything due to the time. Not enough blankets, 2 between 3 of us. Day 2 - no hot water. A quick dip in and out of the shower, which was more of a bath as the water took 10 minutes or more to drain away. The hob was very temperamental, gave up trying to cook some breakfast and went out. As a self catering unit to not have working facilities or enough cutlery/utensils was frustrating. Not to mention a waste of money on food we were now unable to cook - the microwave was fine but we didn't have microwaveable food! Went into the main body of the hotel to find rain water everywhere. The ceiling/glass roof was clearly leaking, and water was on the tables and floor - a health and safety risk! Asked at reception for a third blanket, this never arrived. Explored the outside pool area, it was filthy. Rubbish, discarded glasses, pool full of leaves. The area looked like a construction site but without any work taking place. Went to the indoor pool to be greated with a plate of chicken nuggets on one of the sunbeds which took 3 days to be removed. Day 3 - housekeeping took our towels but never replaced for clean ones so had to traipse down to reception to get some clean ones.We were on the third floor and that's a lot of stairs! Please note the elevator is like something out of a horror movie. It groans, bangs and rattles. It drops in height as soon as someone steps inside. Come bedtime, we convinced our daughter to use the bedroom, upon getting into bed, she was greeted with a bed full of ants! You literally couldn't write it. We haven't used the bed or been in the bed. Vile. Day 4 - there were guests smoking in their room, setting the fire alarms off. This happened 3 times that we are aware of. Being 10pm, not acceptable after a long day exploring. Guests walking the corridors not really knowing what was happening. No direction from staff. I spoke to a member of staff about some of the issues, but like the blanket request, it fell on deaf ears. The housekeepers are visible, but they can't polish a turd. I feel bad for them. Yes I read some of the reviews from other guests, but it was a mixed bag. Figured it was worth a gamble for the price and length of time we were there. It was only somewhere to sleep. It would have been nice to have been able to self cater. I appreciate it is the end of season, but you have paying customers, you should still be providing a service. The pool is listed as being open on your website and taxi driver said you used to have a good reputation. I dont know what's happened. *********** give you a 3 star rating,

Comfy beds and that's sadly all I will give a rating for...its a complete dive and seriously needs updating .I understand the last 2 years have been tough on businesses but how some holiday companies have this on their listings is beyond me .They don't obviously inspect their rentals and yet gladly to take our money too.We had serious flooding in apartments after a storm on Sunday and I really felt sorry for those arriving to this place. However I will be back to Albufeira, will I be staying here again...NADA

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in The staff were actually embarrassed to work there Vile rooms disgusting dirty smelly and should be shut down I feel sorry if any one goes just glad we didn't have kids with us Shut this place now

Terrible hotel. Dirty shabby staff didn't know where the outdoor pool was. Location nowhere near bars. Balcony was a disgrace table and chairs dropping to bits floor filthy. Sunbeds dirty and broken no parasols poolside dirty. Avoid avoid avoid

Nine of us were sent here due to an over booking at our original hotel. This was the worst place I have ever seen in my life that expected payment to stay here!! Literally have never seen anything this awful before and I would consider myself well travelled. I have definitely seen better hostels. The receptionist was extremely flippant and rude. The manager was apparently on his way, but he never arrived. We refused to stay and called our agent for an alternative. This hotel shouldn’t even be open it’s that bad, but if agents don’t know about the issues they will continue to sell substandard rooms to other hotels in the area. I believe there is a scam going on in the local area where money is taken for over booked hotels who then arrange for you to stay at this god awful place and pocket the difference in price. Do Not Stay Here, avoid at all costs it is a hell hole!!!!

Absolutely horrendous. Arrived with a group of friends after being transferred here from our overbooked hotel. It was disgusting. Blood everywhere, filthy rooms, broken doors that didn't lock, holes punched in the doors and walls. The receptionist had no sympathy. We sat in the reception area for hours waiting for them to find a solution and for the manager to arrive - he never did. We wasted our entire first day hoping the hotel would find a solution. We were all very shaken by the experience and refused to sleep there. Honestly the most unsanitary and unsafe hotel I've ever seen.
