This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. I’ve travelled a lot & travel for work, I’ve stayed in tents which have better facilities than this. I once stayed in a shed in the Sumatran jungle & it was better than this. It’s actually dangerous, the electrics exposed live wires, rubble & rubbish round the pool. Half the things in the hotel don’t work. It should be condemned, even for Portugal under EU regs this should be shut down. In summary total DOG SH1T hotel, don’t stay here even if this was the last hotel available in the Algarve

Came here with my mother on Thursday. We stayed one night and had to leave. Socket at the table broken. Sockets in kitchen trip the switch with the kettle. Toilet door doesn't lock. No clothes line/rope. Floors dirty upon arrival. Tv remote not working. Bedroom windows don't open. Hot water tap not working in kitchen.

Kitchen n bathroom and mattress were not that great . Otherwise the property was ok.. helpful staff at reception.. everyday room service was also good.

After reading the reviews I was so scared it was going to be horrible but oh my it isnt ! OK so it isnt 5* but honestly it's just wear and tear I had a shower and that and although it was rusty I wouldn't get an infection haha the room was cleaned everyday which was nice ( I'm clean anyway so they didn't have to do anything but make the bed) I've found no bugs, the toilet was clean and I always clean cutlery ect before using but to anyone else it would've been clean enough... the lady with curly long hair was lovely on arrival and then a man was absolutely fabulous! Other than that staff never spoke to me but that's fine! The pool is mostly empty and had it to myself a few times ! It is a walk to anywhere like the old town it took 30 mins but I enjoy walking anyway and there is restaurants and an aldi less than a 10 minute walk away !... the first night I couldnt lock my door and was extremely worried but turns out no one can open it from the outside haha I've felt very secure in this location and I am so glad I give it a go ! All rooms have a balcony with chairs and a table so honestly it is absolutely fine and please don't be put off by reviews

Well i haven’t got the time to explain everything!! But please to not stay here even stags or hens doos it’s disgusting! lady very rood and and bad mannered on arrival with faults with our check in. she was so horrible with us because they messed the booking up! soon as you arrive there and walk into reception it’s like going back to the 1950s but dirty! Rooms where dirty and badly maintained! no curtains on the windows paint coming off everywhere and stunk! The balcony’s where dangerous because the railings are too low. The pool was freezing and dirty And the toilets by the pool bar well OMG just look at the photos they have not been cleaned in a long while.. DO NOT VISIT THERE

We stayed for a couple of nights and found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We had a one bed apartment that was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and kitchen facilities, a lounge, tv and balcony. There was no air conditioning but it wasn’t too hot at night by the end of September. I wouldn’t have felt the same in high season. The furniture was rather shabby and there were visibly odd electrical connections and pipe work in places, and the bath was marked and uninviting. The pool area was pleasant, big and small pools, tiling uneven/missing in places, but usable. The pool bar served food and drinks. There were sunbeds and tables and chairs, but although there were bases for parasols there weren’t any available so there was no shade. There was a lounge area near reception with books to swap and a vending machine that is useful for cold water and snacks. I’m not sure if I’m a walking ball of static or if it’s live but the machine shocked me three times! However, this is a budget hotel and it was good value for what was paid. The area seemed safe and it was easy to travel to the centre of the resort.

We arrived to be greeted by a very friendly man on reception, check in was quick and simple. Our one bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and what we expected for the star rating of the hotel and price we paid. The hotel is in a good location 10 minutes from the main ***** so not loud, but there are plenty of nice bars/restaurants and shops nearby. My husband and I are in out late 40s and didn't have any problems going up the hill outside to the *****, but if you are suffering with mobility it wouldn't be a good location for you. The towels were changed once in the five nights we were there. Pool area was ok, it does get very hot and there's not much shade unless you go the pool bar It's a three star remember that when booking and the price you pay isn't going to get anything spectacular. I cooked breakfast and lunch in our room, as it was well equipped, no oven, but two ring hob, kettle, toaster and microwave. Other guests were all very friendly as were staff.

Very wary about going here after reading the reviews but its not at all bad. We had the pool to ourselves most days and the room was large and airy. Yes the decor could be updated, yes it does need bringing in to the 21st century but as a base it does exactly what it says on the tin. Its definately not a 5 star place so if you go there expecting 5 star luxury then your out of luck. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The balcony is a nice place to sit in the evening. No AC is a bit of an issue especially while your trying to sleep. It does cater to stag and hen parties though which could be a bit of an issue.
