The hotel is great. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset while dining at Paper Moon. The staff, especially Diego, is very friendly and attentive. The facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast is good too.

This newly opened W hotel offers exceptional service. Right from the moment we entered, a friendly front desk staff member greeted us with a smile, and the valet parking was a thoughtful touch. The hotel grounds are expansive, perfect for a stroll all the way to the beach. For less than 200 Euros during the off-season, including breakfast for two, this was truly incredible value for money.

The entire hotel is very new, and the mermaid theme is quite unique. The lounge is beautiful with a great atmosphere. I visited in mid-March during the off-season. The swimming pool and beach were open, and even though it was too cold to go in the water, it was exceptionally beautiful. I'll definitely come back!

The most cost-effective W [Hotel]

Southern Portugal definitely deserves a longer stay; it's just too beautiful! We regret only spending one night at the hotel this trip, but on the second day, we set off from the hotel to Praia da Marinha and hiked along the stunning coastline. We had lunch in Lagos and dinner in Portimão. From this, it's clear that Albufeira itself, where the hotel is located, doesn't offer much to explore. However, among all the hotels in Southern Portugal, the W is undoubtedly a top contender, offering incredible value for money, so we booked it for a comfortable stay. The room itself was flawless, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was beautiful and new, making us feel right at home. We'd definitely come back here if we're driving again. For those not driving, I'd recommend staying in Lagos or Portimão instead.

Except for the slow front desk service – it took almost an hour to get my room card – everything else was impeccable.
