Rooms were clean ( except for the spiders!). Good beds. Good towels. Sp**** staff but who we met were polite and helpful. Corridors and common areas were well maintained. Parking spaces were limited if you are staying there on a busy day - as we were because many occupants were all attending a wedding event the next day. So we had to wait and move the car once a space became free.

I got to my room late at night and was very tired. I couldn’t understand why there was only 2 pillows on my big bed. Little did I know they weren’t pillows but bricks. I had the most uncomfortable night sleep ever. In the morning when the sun was shining through the holes in the black out curtains, I noticed a bag on top of the wardrobe. It was a black bag so not noticeable once you enter the room. It’s also a sealed bag containing 2 lovely pillows so WHY didn’t they put these on the bed? I just can’t fathom the rationale for this aside saving washing 2 pillow cases. It absolutely ruined my following day as I was shattered! Then to be told by the staff “didn’t you see the pillow bag on top of the wardrobe?” No I didn’t and clearly they should be on the bed. I was offered a free breakfast but had already had my breakfast, that’s another story - don’t bother eating next door as it was awful. If you want a good night sleep go to the Travel lodge up the road, it’s much better and you get 4 pillows on your bed. My friends also only had 2 pillows and they didn’t see the black bag on top of the wardrobe either!

Greeted very well. Parking good but not many disabled bays. Due to disability needing wet room we were put in annexe. Opening door to annexe no sign to say door opens out, not good start. Room neat tidy and clean. Wet room very good with lots of rails. First night could hear thd refrigerator lorries waiting to be unloaded by Tesco. BREAKFAST. On arrival told what table to sit at. Hot food was cold. Informed staff who said I don't have a heat probe and would get more food cooked, but left cold food still out for other people. No replacement brought to table, my husband had to get up and join the queue again. Bacon was still cold. We complained to reception who refunded our breakfast, we said we would not go again the following morning. Our room was not made up or towels changed even though we put sign out. You have to go over to reception to ask for this to be done. Saturday afternoon new guests arrive and allow children to jump off beds, sounded like they are coming through the ceiling. No phone in room so have to walk back over to reception to complain. On leaving on Sunday went to reception to make sure refund was done, had only done for one night not two, oll sorted now. Being disabled not good having to keep going over to reception to do things, to sort things out. Positive. Beds were comfortable. Have reported to food standard agency.

Stayed there for a few days while on my trip. Very comfortable and nice accomodation. .Will totally come back for my next trip. Hassle-free booking and the front desk was very accomodating. Totally worth-it for the price you are paying for.

I was check in by a nice lady at reception, who then allocated me on the ground floor as requested. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and good location. Building looks old but staff were amazing through out our stay. We had breakfast and it was good

This is a tired hotel very much in need of some investment. My collegue had to change rooms as the one he walked into had an unmade bed and the room smelled of vomit. Usually the breakfast at a Premier Inn is pretty good, but on this occasion it was one of the worst i've ever had.

Check in was easy, room was very clean, bed was comfortable with option of extra pillows And shower was lovely and hot. Security doors worked. The only issue I have was that you had to walk outside to get to the Brewers fair which was attached. The staff in the Brewers fair were rude, ignorant and not helpful. Not once did they ever say please oh thank you or even give you eye contact when serving you. Other than that the food was good although we did wait nearly an hour for our main course.
