Capricorn Youth Hostel (Jiangjunshan International Ski Resort)

This might be a hostel, but the quality is on par with a hotel! I couldn't be happier with my stay. The owner is incredibly warm and cool. She even creates a WeChat group for all the snow sports enthusiasts staying at the hostel, where we can chat about techniques, lost and found, and more! [Thumbs up] The lobby has a fantastic atmosphere, and we even discovered two tables full of board games! [Wow] What a shame we didn't have more time to fully enjoy them. The room was clean, the heating was excellent, and the water pressure and hot water were perfect. Plus, there was a humidifier, which was such a thoughtful touch! This place truly exceeded all my expectations!

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at during my travels. My roommates were all great, they offer breakfast in the mornings, and there are board game activities in the lobby at night. Hot water for showers is available 24/7. Most importantly, it's very convenient to walk to the ski resort. The owner also has a ski shop where you can store your skis. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Altay for skiing!

Capricorn Youth Hostel, a definite five-star rating! The stay was fantastic—clean and cozy rooms, comfortable bedding, and a great atmosphere. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to General Mountain. The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were super enthusiastic, ready to answer any questions, and as thoughtful as friends. It's the king of value for money; if you're visiting Altay, this is definitely the place to choose. Highly recommend!

This hostel comes highly recommended, especially given its proximity to the ski resort. However, they no longer offer a complimentary shuttle service to the slopes, which was advertised. I'd suggest they update their information to avoid disappointing guests who might choose them specifically for that. On the other hand, the owner is super nice and communication was always smooth and easy. You can tell they're a fellow travel enthusiast. Breakfast: You sign up for it in a group chat, typically 15 per person, as shown in picture 5. Cleanliness: The hostel is cleaned daily, and disposable toilet seat covers and tissues are replenished. Just a heads-up, disposable toothbrushes and bath towels aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own.

The room was quite clean, and the owner's service attitude was decent.

It was a great experience. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was excellent.
