Altay City No. 1 Hotel (Wubaili Fengqing Street Branch)

Exceeded expectations; clean and tidy. The room has two floors, so after skiing, we watched a movie while taking a bath. The only downside was that the room was too hot. The bed was upstairs, so the cool air didn't reach it, making it too hot to sleep. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so we can explore a bit the next day.

Located in a cultural and creative area, but near roadside parking, the hotel has no elevator and requires climbing stairs. However, the owner and staff were very proactive and quick in helping us with our luggage. They were very friendly and offered to bring us breakfast as soon as we entered, but we left early the next morning, so we declined. Even after we left, they contacted us urgently because we had left some clothes behind and asked if we wanted them mailed back. The service was first-class. The scenery outside the hotel was beautiful, and there were a few insects in scenic areas, which was acceptable. The room felt incredibly spacious.

Suitable for those who enjoy taking photos and want to get good pictures; the service is decent. Parking is not very convenient.

We traveled with a child, so we booked a family room. The child loved the slide! 🛝 Facilities: Starting in Altay, guesthouses seem to use paper cups as toiletries for convenience. Our little one kept turning on the lights by himself at night. Welcome home! 😅😅😅 Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good, but there were used slippers and lint in the cabinet near the door. We'll check more carefully next time. Service: After arriving, we contacted the owner, and they immediately arranged for someone to help us with our luggage. Excellent efficiency! 👍👍👍

The owner was incredibly kind and spoke so gently; it was the first time I'd ever met such a warm and welcoming owner. There's a river right in front of the shop (I don't know its name), and it's very close to General Mountain by car. They even told us how to get there to watch the sunset and where to buy tickets. Breakfast was prepared five minutes in advance, and it was very plentiful—I felt bad about wasting it and ate it all! The bath towels and hand towels were all sealed in plastic bags, the toothbrush cups were disposable, and there was even a bath sponge in the bathtub—the attention to detail was excellent. The room's style was perfect for taking photos, and it even had full voice control. I couldn't help but give it a thumbs up! It's a truly wonderful hotel; the owner clearly puts their heart into it.
