Facilities: The room was incredibly old and dirty, as shown in picture one, even after the cleaning staff had supposedly tidied up. The showerhead for the water heater was broken, there was no separation between the wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and there was no hot water at night. I gave up on showering after waiting over ten minutes for hot water. There's no underfloor heating, and I caught a cold on the first day because of it.
Hygiene: Filthy, plain and simple. They only provided one pair of disposable slippers, as seen in picture two. I'll let you judge those for yourself.
Environment: There's basically no lobby. The front desk staff aren't always at the front desk; it's often unattended. The elevator is also very old, and there's only one.
Service: This has to be the worst service I've experienced in any hotel in Xinjiang. The front desk staff consistently looked impatient and showed no service awareness whatsoever. They didn't even have a sewing kit. For a hotel where guests are skiing, it's very common for ski suits, gloves, or protective gear to tear a seam and need mending. Other hotels near ski resorts I've stayed at all had them. I booked for two nights. After skiing on the second day, loaded with bags, I waited forever for the elevator. When I finally got to the room, my key card wouldn't work. It felt like the world was ending! A staff member then informed me that I had to reactivate my key card daily. When checking out, the front desk was again empty, and I had to call for someone to slowly come. In short, I've been staying in hotels for over a month now, and this is the first one I've given a bad review.
One last thing: The hotel is very small and has no underground parking.
Book with caution.
