My stay started off on a very uncomfortable note. The hotel is located in a gated community, and upon arrival, the guard was extremely aggressive. It honestly made me feel unsafe, as if we were about to be robbed. On top of that, we were required to pay 40 Egyptian pounds per person just to enter, which was unexpected and poorly explained.
Once inside the hotel, the staff were actually very friendly and helpful, which was one of the few positives. However, the check-in process was concerning—they scanned all of our personal documents, including passports, and then had us sit and wait. After about 10 minutes, we were finally cleared to go to our room, but the process felt uncomfortable and lacked proper communication.
The room itself had several issues. There was only one small roll of toilet paper provided, which was insufficient. I also attempted to take a hot bath, but the bathtub was defective—the water drained out immediately, making it unusable.
Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. When we arrived around 8:30 AM, everything was cold, and we even had to unwrap plastic from the food ourselves. The quality was very poor—the coffee tasted like it had a strange perfume-like flavor, and the juice was overly sweet, more like syrup than actual juice. Honestly, a simple candy bar would have been more satisfying.
Overall, while the staff tried their best, the negative aspects of the experience far outweighed the positives. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
