The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms and everything. The only problem is that it is far from Male airport. This resulted in a very late arrival at the island on the first day (6pm). We left very early on the last day (1pm) and had only 10 minutes for lunch on the last day because we had to wait for the seaplane in advance. Also, the seaplane is very expensive.

My wife and I visited the Maldives as a 12 year anniversary. The experience start to finish has been excellent! Upon arrival in Male being greeted for our seaplane transfer and making our way to the resort, every bit was smooth and comfortable. Upon arriving we were greeting with warm welcome with staff dancing and giving a welcome drink and introduction to our Ambassador. Our Ambassador was Fatima, she was very energetic and had a very positive attitude! She was very responsive and hosted us with complete care! She arrange many functions for us and gave us great advice on things to do while here in Sun Siyam for a week. Before leaving we are already planning a trip back next year!

From arrival at Sun Siyam Iru Veli to departure the staff were warm friendly efficient and professional Shuhaan our host was friendly calm with a charming positive vibe along with being super attentive during our stay Room was amazing we were in a ocean suite - snockling easy with lots of fish to see including baby sharks Mithu our cleaner - was outstanding ! A la carte food superb - lobster night a huge must - live singer topped the evening off perfectly Dolphin cruise we were so lucky the team on the boat were amazing The staff, location and services were really very good Work was being conducted - building a new path whilst noisy at times the staff were so pleasant and friendly it was enjoyable to watch the progress they made A truly great holiday surrounded by care and attention to detail- Thank you

Fatima was a very special and kind host. The breakfast was the best of all the hotels I have ever visited.The photos and videos on the sandbank are beautiful, the photographer is very kind and skilled. Very professional. The rooms are perfect for couples. A paradise on earth.It's a shame the stay is over.

Great place to be at. Our ambassador Fauzaan made it a very pleasant stay for us. He made sure that we are taken care of and our requests are met. His positive attitude and the kindness of all the staff across the resort is what we will always remember and talk about to out families and friends.

Very good service and experience. The butler will arrange the itinerary and provide a lot of help. We also experienced sea diving and snorkeling with manta rays, which is a great choice for divers. The two diving instructors are very responsible and active.
