A front desk staff member should be able to understand the customer’s needs and follow clear instructions. On that day, I had three bookings. I specifically informed the staff to prioritize my first VIP guest, who is elderly and required immediate access to the room. However, the staff chose to process all the bookings slowly one by one instead of following the instruction given. As a result, my elderly guest had to wait unnecessarily for a long time.
In addition, when I entered my own room, I found that the toilet was not properly cleaned and there was hair inside. This was quite disappointing and does not reflect the expected standard of cleanliness.
I hope the management can look into this matter and improve the service and housekeeping standards.
