This is one of the oldest hotel chain in Malaysia since 1995 if not mistaken, great locations at many major cities and places in Malaysia. Staff is working hard to please guests that’s encouraging indeed. However the only let down of this hotel is the facilities and amenities are not been replaced as owners seemed not interested in refurbishment. This is very sad for me as I do enjoy to stay at Sri Malaysia hotel chain, great location, ample parking space, but the run down facilities indeed a let down. Even breakfast spread is the same over the years, such a low end budget hotel. Hope the owners of this hotel invest and reinvest if not this remarkable hotel chain will slowly wipe out from the Malaysia tourism industry map.

The front desk very helpful, they insist us to register online for the membership valid for 2 years to get discount for RM10. The check in went smoothly. Ask the room nearly to the stair. The stair quite steep, may not suitable for old folks. The room small but comfortable.

We were on ”road trip” around Semenanjung, and somehow tried our luck with AST. To our surprise, the hotel was better than our expectation, especially at the price we paid. We end up extending day after days, and made AST as our ”camp” when we explore Kedah and Perlis :) Do note, this is a business hotel, and we find it good as lodging purpose only. Help us to rest in the night, clean up, while on day time we explore the town/state

Had a chance to stay at this T Hotel Tandop during my recent trip to Alor Star - Got the room at only RM 60 per night at Traveloka and had a twin bed room. The check in is simple - quick and fast - they took RM 20 for deposit and I was told my room is in Tower B (they have three tower for now). Parking is door front and is ample (at least I dont have issues getting a parking spot). The room is basic - less than 20 sqm - two beds - one desk and a hanging dresser and a small bathroom. Bathroom amenities is very limited (only one bottle for top to bottom wash). Room is clean and neat - no sign of rundown and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is simple - had nasi lemak bungkus which was yummy but is limited so go early. Overall I would say it is a good place for a night sleep - superb value for money. WIFI is also available throughout the hotel.

The room was really small, the sanitation was not very clean, and the toilet was dirty and not clean. The equipment is also somewhat old. The service is OK, the type of reservation started to be wrong, and then Ctrip helped solve it very well, although we paid extra for it. There is a parking space outside and no breakfast.

The location is close to interesting places.. the place to eat is also easy.. next to the hotel there is finger-licking delicious kandar rice.. the hotel is clean, equipped with a heater, soap, towels and TV.. there is mineral water.. equipped with windows for good lighting.. service easy checkin and checkout.. worth the price just to relax.
