Amalfi Hotels with Airport pickup service

L'Hotel Le Rocce è l'espressione concreta di cio che il suo direttore e staff trasmettono ovvero professionalità, cordialità, cura, attenzione ad ogni dettaglio ma soprattutto un senso di familiarità che mai ho trovato in altri alberghi nei mei lunghi viaggi. Ma adesso vorrei essere ancor più dettagliato... inizio dalla reception... tutto il personale è stato fin da subito chiaro, professionale, cordiale e sintetico nel fornirci ogni spiegazione nel suo singolo dettaglio ma soprattutto l'eleganza e la cortesia nel portarci in camera le valigie e mostrandoci ciò che la nostra splendida camera ci offriva... si la camera... chiamarla così è quasi riduttivo perché è proprio uno spettacolo... dalla pulizia in ogni angolo al profumo passando dal bagno che è molto grande, pulito, con il rivestimento in simmetria ma soprattutto abbiamo anche la cromo terapia... ma tornando alla camera il pavimento è super lusso per chi se ne intende lo sa apprezzare e riconoscere quindi complimenti alle governanti che ogni giorno danno il massimo per mantenere le camere pulitissime e brillant... siete eccezionali in tutto.... ma il vero fiore all'occhiello è il balcone con vista mozzafiato sulla costiera... veramente top... la prima colazione è abbondante, varia, con prodotti freschi e genuini e c'è veramente di tutto dal salato al dolce veramente ampia scelta... il personale in sala è veramente eccezionale, ci siamo sentiti fin da subito a casa... in famiglia.... e questo grazie a Salvatore che sa avere un occhio particolare e seguire ciò che avviene in sala e nei tavoli.... gli esterni poi sono da favola.... dalla scalinata in pietra, dove chi volesse può anche rivolgere una preghiera nella vicina nicchia con la Madonnina e vari santi... un atmosfera unica e poi la piscina... wow... un plus veramente eccezionale... tutto lo staff a disposizione con teli già pronti e presenza continua per soddisfare ogni esigenza ma in conclusione vorrei elogiare il direttore... semplicemente un grande... è stato sempre presente, cordiale e attento ad ogni cliente presente ma non solo a me ha colpito che lui stesso in prima persona serviva ai tavoli e si cura di tutto in prima persona .... che dire ... è da prendere sicuramente da esempio perché se l'hotel le rocce ha lasciato questi sentimenti sicuramente lo deve alla cura e gestione del Sign. The Hosts make your stay a lovely time. Signor Beppe makes sure you have an easy holiday. His advice is honest and caring. The views you can see in the gallery are truly breath-taking and you are one hour away from all the major places such as Amalfi, Positano, Minori and Sorrento. We swam in the four different beaches and had lunch there too. Even the village itself is lively for evenings out when you wish to stay around. That is why we chose to stay there. We have plans to return so as to visit even more sites. For instance the Ercolano is on the way to the airport and is well worth the visit - so next time we shall visit Pompeii. Vesuvius is also an hour away and we bought excellent Buffalo milk Limoncello there, a novelty to us. And what about Ravello, what a sweet town with winding narrow streets opening onto a lovely tree-shaded Piazza Centrale and the Duomo. And a day in Capri with a lovely boat ride from Amalfi as advised by Signor Beppe. We take this opportunity to thank the whole family. Please take their advice and phone ahead if you have difficulties for your best choices or itinerary. And please slow down to enjoy the Tyrrhenian Sea and its rhythms, soak in the culture and smell the wine and the roses.

We had a great time in Pompei thanks to staying in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful every minute - at reaching the hotel by the right train in the evening or even to get tickets to Vesuvio volcano that was overbooked online. Thanks to them we did not need to buy the package tour and we free to get there. The hotel has unique ambience and its decently devoted to the history of Pompei. It is next door to the ancient Pompei. Many restaurants are nearby. The room was great, spacious, quiet and clean. There was no noise from the street. We were sorry that the spa closes so early but the hotel was transparent in it. The breakfast was great for sweet lovers but a bit restrained for others. The bowls were not replenished until we have finished the breakfest. I was missing more vegetables and cheeses and those small local delicius things such as olivas or dried tomatoes that makes the breakfast at the hotel great. But it were just minor things. Thanks to all the staff for a great time.

Very good location to visit Ravello and surrounding. Very nice views. Big room.

We had a very good experience with this hotel. Situated across the beach, near to the bus station and close to the railway station, the hotel has big, spacious rooms, with all the ammenities needed. The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices, and mostly, the breakfast room was a rooftop with such an amazing view over the sea and vezuvius. Everything was perfect

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Residence for 10 days and we would definitely come back if we are ever traveling to the Amalfi coast again. Room - The room was great, however, this is the only area where, if I would ask for anything to be improved, it would be this. When we first checked in we were given the wrong room as we requested a room with a bath tub. This was a honest mistake by the staff and we were given the room we asked for the next day. However, the air con system was broken in the room. We complained about this and was assured a maintenance man would be sent to fix it the following day. In the meantime we were given another room for the night which had air con. When the air con was fixed in our original room it then broke again which meant the hotel provided us with fans and replaced the whole unit itself. Once this was done it worked perfectly, but obviously the constant moving about and heat was a little frustrating. The hotel compensated us for this inconvenience and we were very grateful for their generosity. The room itself was beautiful. The bath tub with jets was great but very powerful! The curtains completely blocked out any sun and the room was cleaned every day. The balcony was lovely for picture taking and people watching. Location - the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Right in the hussle and bussle of the town. The bus stop to Ravello is literally opposite the hotel and the stop for Positano and Sorrento is a little further down. The shop to buy the tickets for the bus is conveniently next door to the hotel which is also where we brought snacks and drinks. Service - the service in the hotel is absolutely superb. Every member of staff is so polite and helpful. The only thing they ask is no hot food being brought inside the hotel and that you leave your key at reception whenever you go out which was no bother to us. My boyfriend actually proposed to me on the trip and he organized a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit bowl to be in the room the night of the proposal. The hotel staff also gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we had issues with the air con which was very generous. They also helped us find out how to buy bus and ferry tickets when we asked. Breakfast - lastly the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay however we did not have any other meal at the hotel like the dinner as it was quite expensive for us and not what we preferred to eat. There’s lot of great alternatives in the amalfi town instead. However, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It’s served in the restaurant 7-10 each morning and you order from a slip what you would like. I had the English breakfast and occasionally the pancakes which were amazing! You’re also given croissants on the table and water and can order whichever hot drink you’d prefer. We really enjoyed the breakfast and thought the variety was great. Overall, we would definitely come back and we absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Residence!

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

A hotel a bit outside. Nevertheless, the view of the sea from Balcori is the best location hotel. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Parking is keyed to the counter and parking is in front of the hotel road. It's okay in the off-season, but I'm not sure if I can't book parking during the peak season. It is a hotel that welcomed a comfortable night and a refreshing morning.

The hotel was gorgeous and located in Sorrento with a beautiful view, totally worth the value for the night. My only suggestion is the pool to be open until a later time, and to offer lunch and dinner and not just breakfast. The reception personnel including the manager were very rude. I went to ask a question and the manager replied: ”only if it's one question because I'm very busy.” Every time I had a question I was made feel as if I was being a nag which I was not.
