First of all the positive points: Very friendly staff, good breakfast, the rooms on the 4th floor are very spacious, tasteful and cozy. Very good handling with Corona measures, you feel safe there. Improvement potential: Breakfast hours are only until 10:00, even on Sunday, there would be half an hour longer. In order to avoid it, the coffee machine is turned off and the water tank is removed at 10 p.m. exactly without further notice. The staff starts from 10:00 with their own breakfast... The orientation of the rooms either to the congress centre (more noisy and eastern) or to the parking site (more quiet and west) is of great importance, especially as, If the hang cannot be closed in the east (too short), room change was possible without problems, but one night was there.

The service at Hotel Brunner was amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent. I stayed in a doppelzimmer (double room). The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom was very clean and modern, and everything in the room was top-notch. If you stay in one of the annex rooms, be advised there is no elevator. My room had a security safe, minibar/fridge, spacious desk, king-sized bed with warm duvets and fluffy pillows, and a nice view. The shower had a rainfall showerhead and was perfect after a long day at work. Parking is limited, but the provided garage parking option is inexpensive compared to the train station and community parking garages just a short walk away. The spaces in the hotel garage are very tight, and navigating the garage can be challenging if you are in an SUV or station wagon. Despite this, I did not have any problems parking every night. The hotel also has EV charging. Downtown dining and shopping are very close by. I will definitely be staying here again on my next business trip to the area.

The concept is beneficial to the operator: any comfort will be left away because prison. We received a small room, but it was not even an old cell. It was in a separate track with its own entrance and was simply a very small, dark and cold room, just large enough to pass (on one side) to the bed that was put into the corner. There was no box, of course, but there were no reading lamps or hairdryers in bed, not even for an eyeglass. Very small also the bathroom, where there was only a handwashing basin. The room was shown to us with the note that we would have wished a quiet room; it was quiet, but it was not, rather was to hear the road, which was a very close back of the hotel, which was a very lively road. Our co-travellers were actually in a former cell where the bathroom was at least more spacious, and there was no door or similar separation between the bathroom and the bedroom; you must like it. The breakfast was in a cold room, where at about 15 degrees all the doors were open; also that suitable for the prison concept, but not very pleasant. Our objection has remained unreactional. Concluded: If you can do this because of the consistent approach - but it must be clear that this is essentially accompanied by renunciation to normal comfort.
