The overall feeling is not worth the price. It feels like a small hotel. The room is also small. It’s really no match with the boutique.

It's not our first time at the hotel. Last time was just before lockdown in 2020. Nothing has changed. it's as good as ever. We had a room at the back of the hotel this time as opposed to the front. The room was a slightly strange shape as some are here. It was spotlessly clean, beds are extremely comfortable, the shower excellent and always nice and hot. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, you don't visit Amsterdam to stay in your room. The hotel staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. There is an excellent coffee machine in the lobby, which is free to use for guests. Breakfast, an excellent choice of hot and cold food, pastries, juices, hot drinks, well worth paying extra for. The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre. Well done again, and I'm sure we'll see you again soon.

When on a Business trip to Amsterdam I stayed just one night at ”Rosalia's Menagerie Inn Upstairs” and I loved it... It has just 6 individually styled boutique rooms and mine (a King bed double) was comfortable and provided everything I needed for my stay. The owner Rachel Bonnewell was lovely and treated me with warmth and kindness from check-in to check-out, she was the perfect host. I loved the unique and quirky decor and the personally prepared breakfast was delicious and a great start to my day walking Amsterdam. The hotel location was perfect also in Central Amsterdam, I literally walked everywhere during my 2 days in the City. My room was €150 per night with breakfast. The Inn is, as in the name, 'upstairs' and the stairs are typical of old Dutch houses in as much as climbing them is not for anyone who has ill health or any mobility issues... Note, there is no lift and the stairs are narrow, steep and twisty. I will certainly stay again and hope to do so in the Summer of 2024.

The hotel is quite close to the central train station. It is also close to the Chinatown, the Rembrandt museum, the restaurants, and other touristy places. The staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant on the first floor. There are also a small shelves with snacks and drinks behind the receptionist, so it’s quite convient to get some midnight snacks. The room has a nice size and it is very clean. The decoration is quite playful and modern similar to other Ibis hotel. The price is good for the location and the size of the room. However, the room is not very sound proof. It’s easy to hear the sound coming from other rooms and form the corridor. At this time, Holland does not require the mask anymore inside the hotel so it’s nice to feel back to how it was before the pandemic.

Awful hotel, room was very small and facilities very poor. Most concerning was that we were on the 4th floor and the fire alarm went off around 2am and when trying to exit down narrow staircases we found fire doors propped open with dirty laundry bags. Had it been a real fire we could have been at real risk of not getting out. Room was a ridiculous price for what it offered, we know a room in a central location would be more, but at least provide basic hotel facilities- such as a selection of TV channels and some privacy when using the toilet- the door was completely see through and failed to fit properly. The room pics you see on the website are not what you get. I wouldn’t waste your money here, you can have a far nicer stay somewhere like Sloterdijk and get the train in and out of Amsterdam (10 mins). We requested a half refund due to very poor room and fire alarm - which the owner seemed to find funny - but they declined to even engage in a discussion- so they’re also not keen on customer service or making sure you’ve enjoyed your stay. It’s a money pot to fleece tourists and they get away with it because of the location- and some misleading pictures. If you can get a cheap deal here, stay if you’re happy to put up with the lack of facilities and tiny rooms, but if the prices are high- go elsewhere or you’ll be very disappointed

Breakfast ten euros, in fact, eat in the Italian restaurant on the left, the price is the same, the single room I live in can only sleep one person, do not take a taxi out of the train station, go straight and turn left to cross the bridge straight into the small The first street in the lane turns right a dozen meters away. I will go out and take a photo upload later. It is very friendly, clean, safe, and there is no parking. It is best to come to leisure.
