A terrible experience. Our room on the boat was the only one located in the galley, smelled of old, mold and humidity. The lights did not work and the portholes did not close (it rained and one bed got almost completely wet). The cleaning was terrible to say the least, probably they did not clean after the previous guest checked out: stains of dubious entity on the sheets and towels, dust everywhere, spiders, insects and lots of cobwebs, black hair on the floor and on the beds. The shower had a broken siphon. The door of the boat was difficult to open and close and not at all safe. We pointed out the problems to the owner who "remedied" by putting a "clean" sheet and leaving us a bottle of prosecco. Never again. It's a shame because the idea is nice but unfortunately it remains just an idea.

It seemed like such a nice idea, a nice alternative but hardly being able to sleep because of the oil/diesel smell is not pleasant. Especially not when you wake up with a headache, really awful. Stinging eyes. All your clothes stink of it, even when you get home. We slept upstairs in the captain's cabin, without curtains. Sleeping through normally is out of the question. Beds downstairs much too small. About 1.70 m long. We lifted a wooden hatch downstairs, where a layer of stinking dead water stood. What we did not know was that there was a party on the adjacent terrain de Ceuvel that went on until after 4.00 in the morning. So there was no question of peace. Also the photos from the internet and reality did not match. There is a kind of kitchen but cooking is not allowed. What we noticed was that the blue wooden hotel boat that is in front of our boat is completely rotten. You wouldn't want to be found dead on that. Really not recommended, for this money you can get much better. Bah………. No lighting to walk to the boats or railing at night which really creates dangerous situations. Uneven floating parts that go up and down. We have slept on a hotel boat before but not with these experiences. Very unfortunate.

Way too expensive for a dirty boat. We paid over €621 for 2 nights on the boat UK85. DO NOT BOOK THIS BOAT! STERN First of all it smells terribly of Diesel which they try to cover up with an artificial strawberry perfume. You think you get used to it, but you don't! Even more annoying is that this stench gets into all your stuff. Even the clothes you haven't worn, your suitcases, toiletry bag and my leather jacket still smelled of this stinking smell weeks later DIRTY AND UGLY RENOVATED Furthermore, the boat was poorly renovated. Sharp metal pieces stick out of the wall. Caked-on gunk, dirt that seems to have been there for decades, toothpaste residue from previous guests, strange sticky stain on the counter where a cardboard packaging of our food got stuck to. But also the bathroom is not a sight to behold. But also e.g. the nice plants and armchairs that are on the show photos have disappeared and been replaced by cheap metal stools. DARK AND NO WATER VIEW You can't look out over the water from the inside. It's really a hole you're in. You also always have to turn on the light and you have to search for the light switches. One light didn't work. So it's a dark boat, except in daylight in the bedrooms, there's a skylight that you can't darken. So you're woken up by sunlight in the morning. The beds are narrow and short. (The bed linen was clean) There are 2 chairs on the deck (not really cozy for a 4-person boat), the lights are broken. You also don't get breakfast, a drink or anything, which would have been nice for this price. NO RESPONSE TO MESSAGES I sent 2 messages via ***********, but didn't get a response. I also reported when we left that we really liked the concept but were quite disappointed that it was so dirty. I had also reported the broken lighting earlier. When I got home I was even more unpleasantly surprised by the stench I had brought with me and I sent an extensive email including photos. I explicitly sent another email afterwards asking if they could respond. No response! Bad. POSITIVE POINTS Nice concept, De Ceuvel next door is a nice place, on the water is nice, reception was warm, parking was possible.

Very poor customer service!!! Do not book under any circumstances! We had to cancel the accommodation (the cancellation was made within the deadline) and have now been waiting for months for a refund of the deposit. Contact is truly terrible; emails are unanswered. After numerous attempts to contact us, we received confirmation of the cancellation, but we still haven't received our money back! It's over €960, which is extremely frustrating!
