Bob Oosterpark is a little outside the central tourist area, but still accessible. The no.19 tram will take you directly into the tourist hot spots as a direct trip and is easy to use to and from. There is a good supermarket 300m away. And quite a few fast eat options. There's no face-to-face check-in, but the What'sapp communication with the hotel was fast and effective, While our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, there was only a small high skylight with no windows. Probably the same for most of the rooms on the 2nd floor of this cute looking building. The breakfasts at the nearby "Bagles and Beans" were delicious, but they don't open until after 8.30am. So if you have a tourist time slot booked in the city for 9am, you miss your paid breakfast unfortunately.

We stayed 9 nights at BOB W Oosterpark in May 2025 and had a lovely experience. The hotel is very modern inside, the beds are comfortable, there is a shared kitchen with all necessities for longer stay. The water pressure in the showers is excellent. Hotel is very clean and spacious, and location is close to trams, great restaurants and shopping. The area is very walkable and local bakeries have incredible selection of sweets and great coffee. We got to meet few of the staff members and they were friendly, kind and very helpful. The price was fair for the value, so we highly recommend making it your choice when in Amsterdam.

The hotel as such is really nice and clean. But there are too many negative points: There is no reception. The contact with"Bob"via WhatsApp etc is really good and quick, but the atmosphere is still a very cold one. There is no breakfast. The additional charges, like city tax, was not listed in the beginning; for me, that was a signal that it was included-it is not! The room is not cleaned during the whole stay (in our case,5 days) Check in is only at 3 pm! Quite late! The location is wide out of the city centre. You need 30 min+ to get in. For that, you need a tram ticket, 9€/day. If you are 2 and you add that to your stay, it's again a lot more. Next time I would opt for another hotel, closer to the city centre, even if 100€ more, that is then paid off due to the remoteness etc.

We enjoyed the location of this property. It was outside the mainstream touristy areas. Lot of nice bars and cafes which gives you a taste of local Amsterdam. Our room was spacious and had a lot of details which made our stay very personal. This is our new hotel when visiting Amsterdam

Lost my way a bit and left some cables behind. The customer support person was very very helpful. I don’t have her name but she was a superstar. A great representation of the culture of Bob W. The property in the town in Amsterdam was ok and comfortable. Really a 4 star hostel with good community area.

We liked how easy and flexibile the (contactless) check-in was. We opted for early check-in and everything was ready at noon, whwn we arrived. The common area with tables and a kitchen was a great plus.

Amsterdam is always beautiful (even in the rain), but my recent trip was made incredible by my stay with Bob W in Oost. It is a lovely building with beautiful rooms and for good value.
