Property Description

This gorgeous ground-level apartment (no stairs) is part of our home in a historic villa located in one of Amsterdam’s most desirable residential areas — the Museum District. Peaceful and private, the apartment sits directly across from the beautiful gardens of the Rijksmuseum and occupies approximately 80 m² / 860 ft². From the living room window, you can enjoy a lovely view of the Rijksmuseum, and the private city garden/patio (26 m² / 280 ft²) with romantic evening lighting offers a rare oasis in the city center. With 3-meter-high ceilings and the highest monumental status in the Netherlands, this is truly a one-of-a-kind property. Each bedroom features a king-size bed (180 × 200 cm / 71 × 79 in), making the apartment perfect for families or two couples. On request, we can prepare an extra bed (140 × 200 cm / 55 × 79 in) using the living-room sofa, or an air mattress (150 × 200 cm / 59 × 79 in) — allowing up to four adults, each with their own bed. There is one full bathroom with a toilet, shower/bathtub, and sink, accessible from the hallway (not through a bedroom), plus an additional half bathroom with a toilet and small sink. The fully equipped kitchen includes filtered, sparkling, and boiling water directly from the tap, along with complimentary coffee and tea. The house is fully air-conditioned, with two units in the living room and one in each bedroom, as well as additional ventilators for extra comfort. This is a truly family-friendly home. Upon request, we can provide a high chair, baby cot (60 × 120 cm / 24 × 47 in), or luxury toddler travel bed (Deryan), plus a baby playpen and bed rails for child safety. Families are warmly welcomed. Great location in Amsterdam. Everything was walkable. Place was specious and open, clean and well appointed with towels bedding. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook. Cute outdoor space and very safe upscale neighborhood. Coffee and washer and dryer was well appreciated. Thank you for sharing this lovely apartment

Fantastic property I highly recommend this place. The location was fantastic. The bed were comfortable. We were able to cook. It felt very safe. I was concerned with the place being on the first floor but it is so secure that is not a problem.

Best Amsterdam stay yet! It is difficult to beat the location. Right in Leidseplein beside the Rijksmuseum. Easy walk through to Centraal Station and other downtown areas. Very safe. Very quiet. Very clean apartment that was well appointed and comfortable. Zero complaints whatsoever. Great communication from the manager. Easy check in and check out. I’ll definitely be staying here again!Thank you for everything!

Martin The apartment was amazing. It was clean and exactly what the pictures were like. The location is outstanding as well great neighborhood very close to several museums and parks. A Beautiful Stay The VRBO was perfect: clean, quiet, and beautiful. The host was easy to communicate with ahead of check-in and even was able to arrange and early check in. We loved the small touches throughout, like a welcome bottle of wine, great soaps and shampoos, lots of tea and coffee options, and outlet convertors already placed.
