We loved the hotel, the common areas are very beautiful, the staff is very professional and willing to help. They even allowed us to check in almost two hours early. The room was incredible, as well as the view. Everything was very clean. We would definitely return!

Location is good for us as it is close to business partner. Counter staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed for 4 nights and we love this place. Breakfast is the same everyday though, which can be improved if they were to at least alternate the breakfast menu. Housekeeping is decent, beds are comfy. Gym is spacious and well equipped. Overall a nice hotel which we recommend.

A wonderful facility with modern outlook

Near a port, the transportation is extremely inconvenient. There is only one bus and it takes 15 minutes to walk to the station. The room is small and there are no toiletries except shower gel. The water output of the shower head is small. It is so expensive and so bad. Europe is really in decline.

It's OK for a business trip, the room is not big and the view is nice.

The hotel is not in the city center, but it is very close to the client company. It is very convenient if you have business dealings. If you want to go out of the city center, you must call a car. The hotel does not provide a car. If you are traveling freely and do not have a private car, it is not recommended to stay here . There are no surprises in the hotel breakfast, but acceptable.

It’s very far from the center. Rooms are small and very poorly equipped (which is very disappointing for a Marriott hotel) and not tidy at all. There is no toilet brush, the staff told me it is known but they don’t have any.. There is no chromecast on the tv, no phone in the room but there is one next to each elevator floor to reach the reception.. except they do not answer .. ever. Good point: view from the room is nice. Overall experience is just disappointing.

I came to Amsterdam to see a concert. Toyed with the idea of a hostel but the reviews were awful and still bloody expensive so I thought I’d shell out for quality and quality is what I got… It’s REALLY easy to get there (10 min by bus from the main station and then 5-8 min walk depending on your speed). Looks super cool inside, great staff, decent selection of fast food plus there’s a gym and pool. Room was awesome. You can also hire bikes. It was very expensive but that’s Amsterdam!

Pluses - Room was clean and view fab - already knew it was a little out from centre but location is nice and chilled. Downsides - For £250 per night - no bottled water, toiletries or proper cups in the room (told that's policy but to me this is the basics ). - Staff are preoccupied with themselves - waited over 20 mins to get served in the quiet bar whilst one team member made a complicated mocktail for another staff member to photograph. - Limited food available - extensive menu but only frozen pizzas available - made to feel awkward for even ordering. When asked about restaurant upstairs they just said it's a separate company - Staff have no local knowledge and seem annoyed if you ask them anything about transport or shops

The hotel is very comfortable and the surroundings are peaceful. The housekeeping is very focused on detail, keeping the rooms clean and welcoming. I would not say the same about the reception which is combined with the bar behind. Unnecessary and bureaucratic delays during checkin (I pointed out but the lady conveniently blamed it on hotel policies). Checkout same long process and errors. The bar behind misses orders, charges incorrectly and, guess what, takes too long for everything. This hotel is not the typical Marriott experience and it doesn’t matter whether you are a Gold or Platinum member.

We thought the ambience and vibes of this hotel to be stylish and chic with friendly, down to earth staff who were more than accommodating! Special thanks to Arsi, Camilla, Teddy, Parisa and Leto for their wonderful service. There were a few matters that could be improved such as: introducing vegan options, housekeeping to continuously be efficient – there was some occasions where they forgot to replace items in the room such as toilet paper, coffee cups or even forgot to take used glassware; more staff behind the bar, as it did become busy and customers were waiting more that 10mins – should the reception not be busy, then those staff members could help out behind the bar? Some staff members should pay more attention to the small details, which we discussed with the Manager, Pasquale, who listened and took on all our suggestions on board. That said, we would not hesitate to visit again.

The bed was so cosy, room a good size, and lots of nice toiletries. Quiet area and good coffee and teas in the room. Room service was available but we didn't use this. Even hangers for clothes and a lot of drawers. Close to McDonald's if the need .

My friend and I came Amsterdam to celebrate her birthday and we chose to stay at the Moxy hotel! The aesthetic and the look really captivated us! When we arrived we were our expectations were met to a tea!! The customer service was warm and inviting! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped us with everything! Our hotel was really cute and provided us with enough of everything! The room was cleaned and towels were replaced as soon as we went out and came back! We decided to have pizza and cocktails which was served until 4am which was so convenient for us! Staff were still present at the bar and happy to accommodate us! This hotel was perfect for us! Especially as it was only a 13 minute walk to the bus station that took us straight to Amsterdam centraal! This stay was definitely worth it and I will be here again! Thank you to the lovely staff and moxy hotel !

The hotel employees are not friendly at all and I do not recommend to stay at this Moxy Hotel. It‘s expensive for the customer service you recieve and the hotel does not deserve the name moxy in his name. For my next visit I will book another hotel.
