Amadi Panorama Hotel

Location wise is the top pick for me. Within walking distance to hop on to the tram station that brings us to the Amsterdam Centraal. Free coffee tea and some biscuits 24/7. It was confusing to get there. Reception is on the 8th floor and prior to the check in, no clear instruction provided in the email nor in the OTA APP. To save you some time, just find the reception button from the entrance gate, they will immediately open it for you in the daylight. I arrived quite late and hassle to get inside with multiple button press and no one is opening it from the reception desk, until one hotel guest came out and save my life. The lady in the reception not so friendly and keep defend herself she had opened it for me, which was so untrue. No sorry no apologizing. The next morning, the guy with curly black hair in the reception treated us unfavored for our whole stay. I asked for help to reheat our meals and he just lazily pointed to the other restaurant staff without any word. Please train your staff with more hospitality as you claimed as 4 stars hotel. The other staffs are just okay. Service wise is below our expectation, even 3 stars hotel can do better!

Good standard hotel, with 20 minutes away from most of the attractions on Amsterdam

It’s far from the centre, but you just get the tram and you reach the Central Station in 20 minutes. Plenty of shops nearby for groceries and other things, very quiet area, so you can have a good sleep. riendly staff. But not the best for the price they charge, but this is just me. I also had a problem with some noises coming from the ceiling, something like an engine, and the receptionist said that she couldn’t do anything, but it was late. I haven’t tried the breakfast because it was kinda expensive, but there’s free coffee available all day., as well as biscuits and fruits. If you don’t mind staying far from the centre so this can be an option. Nothing exceptional, but good overall.

The hotel is situated some distance from the city centre and is located within an apartment building. The entrance and lobby are not clean or hygienic. The rest of the room is satisfactory. However, the overall experience was disappointing, particularly with the senior staff who seemed to be attempting to extort money.
