Really enjoyed our stay here. Came as 2 couples so booked 2 rooms. The staff at check in and check out we're friendly and super helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, nice decor and the beds were super comfy. They had everything you need in the rooms and the shower was amazing- could have spent all day in it. The location, although not in the centre is easy to get around and so many nice cafes, and restaurants just outside. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again! Would however say the bathroom would t be a great set up if you are just friends but as couples we had no problem with them being open plan. The toilet is in a separate area.

The worst experience of my life (happened in February 2024). Terrible service and very rude receptionist. Called me a liar after ripping me off. Never stay in this hotel as there are plenty of good options in the city. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Earning a three-star rating from me. The location is convenient, situated in a quieter area while still within reach of the city's attractions. The staff was generally friendly, although the service lacked some of the personalized touches I've experienced in higher-rated hotels. The room at Boutique Hotel Oosteinde was comfortable, but the decor felt a bit outdated, and there were minor maintenance issues that could use attention. While it provided a decent place to rest, it didn't quite meet the expectations I have for a boutique hotel. The hotel's amenities were satisfactory, but there is room for improvement. The breakfast was standard, and although it covered the basics, it didn't stand out as exceptional. I found the overall ambiance to be pleasant but not particularly memorable. In conclusion, Boutique Hotel Oosteinde is a reasonable choice for those seeking a basic and budget-friendly option in Amsterdam. However, for a more elevated experience, one might consider exploring other boutique options in the city."

Relatively small hotel at a great location. Lots of great restaurants nearby, so that was a big plus for us. There was no breakfast option, that was a pity really. The room was not too big but we liked the interior, which was pretty modern and stylish. Prices were fair.

Honestly, I wouldn't have so much of an issue if there was any communication from the hotel with us about our issues during our stay. We had multiple, which were raised on numerous occasions but nobody ever got back to us, and we were told to email the hotel after staying to speak with a manager (who was never available in the hotel), which we have done 3 times now in a month but had absolutely no response. Myself and my wife arrived to the hotel for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we were given a room with twin beds. We were told we could push the beds together for the night, which we did, and that they would organise them to be put together properly by housekeeping the following day. We asked each day for this to be done but was never. As we were moving the beds together and changing the bed linen ourselves we found blood stains on the mattress, completely disgusting. The shower in our room was spraying out of the pipe, not ideal when there is no shower door and it is essentially in the bedroom. We had to tie a cloth around it to stop it, but it was never fixed despite it being reported multiple times. The Air Conditioning unit was not working for the majority of the time there, again reported many times but nothing done about it. Most frustratingly really was each time we went to reception to ask for something to be fixed or for an update, nobody seemed aware of the fact that we had previously reported it. We asked to speak to a manager a few days after arriving, but they were unavailable. We have emailed a few times, but have had no response. All that being said, location is great. Pity about all the rest.

Firstly, the staff were very friendly and greeted us every time we entered. We were given maps and coupons upon entry, and the hotel room had a coffee maker and complimentary coffee (but no milk). We were told about breakfast but couldn't find a menu, so we decided to avoid it as my partner is a vegetarian. The double bed was two single beds pushed together. We had to flip the mattresses around to make it comfortable for a couple to share - I did fall through the middle once! While flipping the mattresses around we noticed what looked like blood stains on the sheets - they had been cleaned, but the stain was off-putting. The floor didn't seem clean either, as it was dusty and a little sticky in places. Overall, however, the room was stylish and quite big. The shower was separated from the bed by just a wall, so if you went to the sink you would see everything! Similarly, the toilet was behind a two way mirror, so whoever had the light on could be seen clearly. We did use the toilet in the dark! It wasn't too much of a problem for us, but for those who aren't travelling as a couple or who are a little more shy it might be off-putting. Checking out was easy and our deposit was returned. Buses and trams were very close by, and Amsterdam Centraal was a 30 minute walk away. The location was definitely the best part!

I stayed in the hotel in November 2021 with a friend, it was a nice hotel but I would suggest it is a better fit for couples rather than friends sharing. The room was nice, it was clean and well decorated. We did request two single beds when booking, but when we checked into the room there was a double bed instead (this wasn’t too much trouble for us, but would have preferred two singles.) The main reason I say the hotel is for couples rather than friends is because there is no privacy in the room at all, the bathroom is not separate of the hotel room, the bathroom is open and part of the bedroom. So you can see someone in the shower as the shower does not have a door on it. The toilet does has a door, but it is a glass, slightly see- through door with no lock. The staff were nice and the location was perfect for us. Not too far out from the centre. I would stay again, but with my partner rather than a friend this time.

Fraudulent and disgusting. Arrived and there was blood on the pillow and in the bed, mould above the window and hair all over the room. It had blatantly not been cleaned at all. I didn’t stay; handed the keys in and asked for a refund which they refused to give as apparently they offered a ‘solution’ (which was for a member of staff to change the bed sheets - but he would have to do it as housekeeping had ‘gone home’ at this point). I was disgusted so I raised a complaint with my credit card company who refunded me the amount of the stay. It gets better though as 3 weeks later they raised an invoice without my permission for pretty much the same amount that was refunded so I have had to raise another dispute. Wouldn’t touch this place with a 10ft barge pole, it’s unclean, unkempt and dodgy. Stay away!

We arrived at 2 am and checked out within 2 hours. The room was not air conditioned, as we had expected, and there was stagnant water in the shower, which would not drain. The room was tiny -- we could not even open the door completely because it hit the bed. We were booked for 4 days, and even though we checked out within a few hours, the hotel refused to refund us any of the room fees. The manager was slow to get back to us, and rude in her correspondence. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The manager from hell! That this woman running a hotel in the service industry must be a joke. She will: -Give you a room full of spiders -Be extremely rude -Kick you out of the hotel for ridiculous reasons -Not listen if you try to talk to her -Lock herself and her male colleague into your room when you are only in your panties to kick you out -Ask you to leave the hotel only wearing panties. Yes, it is true! -Block and keep the door open with her male colleague and not allow you privacy while getting dressed -Call the police on you and tell them lies -Steal your money She will definitely lie in her feedback on any review so do not believe anything that woman says or writes. Please read the reviews online. They all say the same: This hotel will ruin your vacation. Again: do not believe anything that woman says or writes on any review feedbacks.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. NOT WORTH THE STRESS. I have never came across such an unhelpful and rude service in my entire life. I booked this hotel for last week of April (very busy week as it is King's day). My boyfriend had 30th birthday so I decided to surprise him and spend a nice week in Amsterdam. I booked the hotel few months before via ********** and opted in for "pay on the arrival" option that they offered. We flew to Amsterdam on the day of his 30th birthday. We arrived to the hotel on Saturday evening and a man on the reception says that he doesn't have more rooms and that our reservation was cancelled (I didn't check my email, they cancelled one night before because aparently I didn't pay, where payment wasnt required beforehand). I told the man that I have money and I chose the option to pay on arrival. He was very rude, said it is not his problem and I should contact **********. I asked if he can help us as it was a Saturday night and everything was booked out and we had nowhere to stay. He said that he can't help us, we can book somewhere else for the night (min 300e in every hotel we checked) and come back to his hotel the day after and he will have a room. I asked if the price will be still the same as when I booked. He said that the price is double now because it's a busy week. I told him that I booked it months before and don't see why I should be paying more. In the end he said there was a room in another hotel of this chain, but he can't book it for us. I called that other hotel and explained the situation and told them that my Internet wasn't working and I asked if he could hold the room for us as we will be there in 20min, man on the phone was equally rude and said he can't do anything to help me. 30th birthday ruined, I had a day planned, reservation in a restaurant and I spent whole evening looking for a hotel instead of enjoying our holidays. Nightmare. I do not recommend, not worth the stress. DO NOT BOOK IT. I emailed them about my situation and did not even get a reply, that sums up how they treat people.

Not recommend at all. They didn't provide the daily services else the customers asked them before 9 am. I asked for more blankets they replied me that they didnt have. They took 50 euro extra as city tax (for four nights) and 150 euro as refundable cash. There were no closet, I reserved king size bed, i got tow single beds closed together. There were no air condition in the room, there is only central heating under the window. Room was clean but for the amount that i paid it must much better. There is no sign for the hotel even above the main door. Hotel with these services must be one star not more.

Avoid at all costs. Paid a substantial amount to stay here and then couldn't travel on the booked dates so requested a date change. The hotel wanted an extra 150 euros to change the dates and wouldn't let me cancel for a full refund. The hotel then took 80 euros from my card without giving me a reason and without my knowledge or permission. I had to open a chargeback dispute with my bank to get my money back, when I told the hotel about this they immediately refunded the 80 euros they had taken from me as they knew it was wrong. I was extremely polite the whole time I dealt with them but their customer service was extremely poor and I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable staying here. If you read the reviews on google many others have unfortunately had the same experience with this hotel.
