The central location is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The service staff at the reception desk was unfriendly, you immediately had the feeling that the hotel didn't depend on you. In addition, the hotel's own parking garage was occupied so that the hotel recommended that you go to another parking garage. But the fact that this costs €100 for 24 hours was kept secret. Luckily at the next day we asked again for a parking space. This was then made available to us for a further €35. An accommodating approach would have been customer-friendly. About the room: If you leaned against the headboard of the bed, you would be stuck. It was verry sticky. In addition, the balcony door to the room was broken, making it impossible to ventilate. If you wanted to shower, you flooded the entire bathroom as there was only minimal separation from the shower. We had booked for 3 nights. But then we decided to leave after 2 nights. Unfortunately the hotel is not recommended.

Designer looks and great location. However rooms super small, bathrooms even smaller to the point that you could barely turn around. Shower floads the bathroom. No light in the room entrance, the only place big enought to open the lugagge. The worse were the beds. Matresses super soft that slide off the bed frames. Very uncomfortable. Plus they did not make the rooms and could care less when I asked the receptionist. Overall do not reccomend.

Myself and my partner stayed for 3 nights with you. Overall, I wouldn't consider it a pleasant stay. First of all, it was not made clear that a "double room" meant "two single beds with single duvets pushed together." When I looked at the website I could see this in some of the pictures, but it was definitely left out of the room description. Regarding our first room: - The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, so every time we took showers the whole room became soaked and filled the bedroom with steam. Also, this meant all of the fixtures in the bathroom were covered in rust and there was rusty water dripping from the ceiling. - The curtains would not close properly. The window of our first room looked out into the central square of the complex, so this meant every room and the street could see in to our room unless we folded the curtains and rested a bag against them. - The headboard reading lights didn't work. When we politely voiced our concerns to the hotel receptionist, she was extremely disinterested and was barely paying attention. She switched us to a new room which was marginally better, but upon checkout there was no question of whether our room was acceptable or not. We just received a shrug and no eye contact. All of this would have been totally fine if the Mosaic was advertised as a hostel or "cheap and cheerful" place to rest your head. But, it's a hotel and it charges hotel prices. Thankfully our trip was fantastic, the night receptionist girl was extremely friendly and the beds were comfortable but seeing as you asked for feedback, I would seriously reconsider how you advertise your hotel, and look into improving your customer service.

Lads, stay away from this place at all costs. Myself and my partner came for a three day city break and booked into this place, the photos and price giving us the impression that it was a nice spot. First of all the pros: the hotel is central and a short walk from basically everything. And that's it. When we arrived we encountered surly service from receptionist. Our room was an absolute disaster. Firstly, they do not advertise that their "double rooms" just consist of two single beds pushed together with two single duvets. Definitely not good for couples staying as one of you will inevitably end up falling between the mattresses. Secondly, EVERYTHING was broken: curtains wouldnt close, extractor fan in bathroom didnt work causing the place to be drenched with steam, bed light was broken, mirror light was broken and everything in the bathroom was covered with rust. Real fun when the broken extractor fan means you get rusty water dripped onto you whenever you enter the bathroom. Usually, a few broken things are easily brushed off but considering what we were paying, we couldn't deal with it so we made a complaint to the desk. The girl at the desk neither apologised, nor tried to make amends, just quietly handed us the key to another room. The second room was almost just as bad. The lights worked but there was the same issue with the extractor fan and everything was covered in rust. Upon checkout we still got the surly, borderline rude service we had come to expect. I wouldnt mind if this place was branded a hostel, it would make more sense. But its the fact that they charge hotel rates that irritated me most. Overall, I'd run a mile from this place.

I stayed here with friends for a few nights. After returning to our room on our last night, our room had been cleaned and all of our apple products and cash were no longer in the room. Ipad, 3 pairs of AirPods, etc. as well as €800 cash was stolen. A police report was filed and management did an extremely poor job dealing with the situation. Not a trustworthy place. If you stay here be sure to lock up your stuff.

This hotel was a real surprise. The two rooms room were clean and very tidy and was cleaned daily. As others have said some of the fixtures and fittings are a little rusty, but nothing that you would actually worry about. It is in a great location, the shops and central Amsterdam are within walking distance and you can also easily get the number 17 tram. The staff were all really friendly, polite and accommodating. They just had a very chilled attitude which was projected throughout the city. None of the staff we encountered were rude at all. Very laid back and easy going. Volderpark is just around the corner and is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Bosco’s across the road was great for breakfast and a late night drink and snack. We loved our trip and we loved the hotel. No fuss or stress whatsoever. We were incredibly impressed. It appears that some reviewers have incredibly high expectations above and beyond what this hotel will offer you. If you want a nice comfortable spacious room to lay your head after a long day of sightseeing which is clean and presentable then myself and my 5 travel companions would highly recommend.

Small rooms but more storage than most. Location was great. Near a lot of restaurants. Balcony was nice. But it was difficult at first because things in our room didn't work but they moved us right away and the staff was very helpful.

Staff is friendly, but won't help if things go wrong. Room was ok but no air conditioning. They knew as there was a fan in the room. No-one would help us. *********** won't help either. Great location, but it is not worth it. Room was clean.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my nephew. Very convenient location, 15 min walk from the city center, in a good neighborhood even in the late evening. The room is very nice, bright during the day thanks to the large window. Good cleaning and towel change. The bathroom is small but the shower is nice and large ... The only flaw of the bathroom is the lack of hangers for towels. The bed is very comfortable! We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but in the large hall there are free water coffee cappuccino machines... I recommend the cappuccino because it is the best I drank during my vacation in Amsterdam! Friendly staff. Reception 24h/24. Good price x northern European standards (505€ x 3 nights without breakfast) ... Good quality/price I would go back
