Superior Twin Room with Balcony

Returning to Hotel Fita is a bit like coming home. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed as a family member. Kees, Roel and the rest of the staff make you feel at home. This time we stayed on third floor, room 42. (Fortunately, there is a small lift, so you don't have to climb the typical steep Amsterdam stairs...) Newly renovated room; It is large enough, fresh, extremely clean bathroom and the beds are ever so comfortable. We really like to stay here! The breakfast is more than enough, the scrambled eggs and the bacon are made to perfection. Different kinds of bread, cheeses, ham, salami, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee. And for Pete's sake, don't miss Hotel Fitas pancakes! Both Kees and Roel will help you out with maps, directions, tips what to do and see, and they can even provide you with fast lane tickets to museums nearby. We have already made a reservation for Fita for our next trip to Amsterdam, so now we just long for our winter break. If you want a smaller, more personal place to stay, rather than the big chains, Hotel Fita will probably be a perfect choise, close to van Gogh museum and Museumplein.

This trip to A'dam we decided to stay at Hotel Fita, and we are so happy we did. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family that run the hotel. They are very, very kind, and eager to make you feel comfortable and ”at home” during your whole stay. Room 24 is large and comfortable, extremely clean, with a large bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, TV, and very, very nice beds and cushions. No noise what so ever from traffic outside. And, of course, free and fast wifi in room. Breakfast was not too much, but very good. Tea, different coffees, yoghurts, bread, toast, scrambled eggs and bacon, fruit, croissants, AND the most fantastic pancakes you can imagine...!!! We never left the breakfast table hungry, that's for sure. This is a hotel we most certainly will visit again. Thanks all in the family for a great stay!

Best hotel we've ever had in Amsterdam.  Perfectly located right at the 2 & 5 tram lines, across from the Van Gogh museum. Room 32 has a corner balcony, good sized room, nice bath, really comfortable beds and linens.  Free breakfast has ample choices and they will cook you excellent Diuch pancakes as well (more like French crepes actually).  Staff is really friendly and helpful.  Free wifi. Quiet, away from the busy streets. A great value.
