Camp Inn Hotel Amsterdam

Stayed in this hotel for one night with my girlfriend. The reviews were alarmingly bad so we were quite concerned, however it wasn’t too bad overall. The staff were reasonably unhelpful when we checked in, he just gave us the key and left us to it. The room had no natural light and the shower had no hot water so we had freezing cold showers. Overall it was ok for one night but it would’ve been very disappointing to stay there for longer. It seemed more like a hostel. There were no staff at reception & overall a weird atmosphere.

An absolute disaster! The worst hotel I've ever stayed in! It is filthy, miserable and has no natural light, reminded me of my storage room. The shower/toilet room tiles were chipped, the sink was blocked and its doors didn't close. Almost every single piece of item in the room was broken. It was nightmare. I was so desperate to get out from there in the next morning and packed my stuff in a rush and left a couple of my belongings. I called them to arrange if I could collect them later, but to my surprise there was nothing left behind apparently. This hotel is not cheap, I paid more than €100 a night. I can't get my head around as to how they justify the rate of this room. It should be priced at €20 a night with these atrocious standards. You have been warned!!!

Disgusting room, smelled cigarette and was very dirty. Shower/ bathroom looked like they never been cleaned or taking cared of, broken walls. When we asked for another room, we got to pay for everything and had to change hotell, to the one next door, called G Experience hotell. Most saddest room I ever been to, just a bed and nothing more. Shower broken in this room as well. Breakfast really bad, was bought from the store next door and some just saved for days in the fridge.

Disgusting room, poor management, very bad experience. Don’t recommend this hotel to anyone they don’t have any sense of hygiene. Faeces we’re still in the toilet sheets still dirty customer service 0

Our stay here was very disappointing, stains on the walls, the drain in the bathroom was blocked so the water went everywhere including under the door into the room, we ran out of towels from drying the floor so we went to reception and they never sent more towels, we also asked them to help us with the television Wich they didn’t do either, also 3.50 for a bottle of water is ridiculous

Bleah! Blood on sheets, dust everywhere. When I pointed this out to the reception staff, I was told by a Turkish doll: you should have said that immediately. I just realized the day after there was blood on the pillow.. Luckily we only stayed one night, how disgusting!

A low priced hotel near the center of Amsterdam...but be warned that you get what you pay for......However, a good option if you are in Amsterdam for any other reason than spending time in a hotel room.

My partner and I stayed in The Camp Inn Hotel for two nights, and we do not recommend it! The price was way too high for the quality of the place, and we did not get the room, we booked. There was a queen-size bed with only one single duvet, although we booked for two people. Luckily, we brought a sleeping bag for the bus journey there, which I ended up using, while my partner used the single duvet... The room was small and compact with an internal window to the hallway, which was not clear in the booking description. It was not possible to get fresh air in the room. There were no hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom, and no hangers to store clothes - I asked for some in the reception, but never got them. I am allergic to gluten and lactose, which I noted in the booking comments and further wrote in an e-mail to the hotel 2 weeks in advance. Upon arrival, I made sure with the reception staff that they would be able to accommodate my allergies during breakfast the following day. They ensured me this was no problem! However, it turned out they were not able to accommodate these needs, and when I asked the staff during breakfast, they seemed arrogant and told me to have some fruit. A bit disappointing, when I made an effort to contact them via e-mail long in advance and double checked with the reception. Perhaps the experience would have been acceptable, if the price was reasonable, but €300 for two nights was definitely not worth it! We will return to Amsterdam, but will never use this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. I gave it 2 stars, as they let us store our backpacks in their storage room for free, the kitchen lady was nice, and the bed was comfortable.

We had a room on the ground floor. With no windows and smelly air. In the Night some people rather drunk or high on ***** argued verry loud for 2h in front of our door. I was afraid there might try to enter our room. There was no Hotel Staff there to tell them to stop!!
