I had very high expectations for Disneyland Hotel, especially considering how expensive it is. Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing and did not feel like good value for the money.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, but there was nothing particularly luxurious or memorable that justified the premium price. The décor was nice, but overall it felt like a standard hotel with a Disney theme rather than a true luxury experience.
One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of basic amenities. Not even a complimentary bottle of drinking water was provided in the room. For a hotel charging such high rates, this is surprising and feels very stingy. Most hotels, even those that cost much less, provide complimentary bottled water for guests.
The service was acceptable, but nothing stood out. There were no special touches or exceptional hospitality that made the stay feel worth the cost. While the convenience of being close to the Disney parks is certainly a plus, that’s really the main advantage of staying here.
Overall, I left feeling that I paid a premium simply for the location and the Disney name. If you’re expecting a luxury hotel experience that matches the price, you may be disappointed. Unless being within walking distance of the parks is your top priority, there are many other hotels that offer better value, better amenities, and a more satisfying overall experience.
Pros:
* Excellent location next to the parks.
* Clean rooms.
* Beautiful Disney-themed atmosphere.
Cons:
* Extremely expensive for what you get.
* No complimentary bottled water, which is unacceptable at this price point.
* Basic amenities are lacking.
* Nothing particularly special or luxurious.
* Poor value for money.
