This is an amazing hotel with very pleasant, accommodating, and friendly staff. The location is perfect for my job needs. The great experience starts at the front desk with Ms Lucy Bailey!! She is just amazing!!! I can tell you that just getting to Alaska and the cold weather is a shock! But the warm welcome that I received from Ms. Bailey and the rest of the staff, such as Tamia (Breakfast) and Terry Ann in housekeeping have made this job trip very homely. Their Customer service is just above and beyond other hotels in the area. I know, I stayed in them before. I’m glad I made the right choice for my extended stay in Alaska. Townplace Suites is definitely the place!! Thank you all for your fantastic hospitality.

Awesome hotel. Check out the Moose tooth Pizzaria while you’re there and if you’re lucky Christina W will be the one who checks you in

Christina W. at the TPS Midtown Anchorage is very helpful and makes sure we have everything we need when we stay here. The room has a well stocked kitchen and the hotel is near supermarkets so I can always cook in my room. I stay here frequently for work and the staff is always welcoming!

Father and Son trip for the Mayors Marathon in Anchorage Two room suite very nice ---- problem with the tv and one A/C unit. Will had to reconnect the cabling which another customer must have disconnected Next the A/C required a new compressor which he ordered. Hey it is Alaska crack open a window Michael at the front desk was very understanding with a late checkout the we left Lisa the operations Manager was very understanding with our situation Overall great customer service and a well run hotel

Great experience at the hotel, room clean, facilities in great conditions and breakfast delicious. Tulua Afa gave us a great check in experience and was so warm and welcoming! I would definitely stay again! Lots to walk to in the area as well.

What a sad and worn out hotel. Small rooms that they advertise as suites. The TV is so dim that it can’t be seen without closing the blinds. Thermostat takes the setting and heats the room to 2 degrees below the setting and about 8% humidity. The heat kicks in and wakes you up. Bedside outlets are so worn out that the plug falls out because of its weight. Breakfast is OK if you just want calories with sugar and fat. Forget about healthy food. The back view looks like an abandoned prison yard. Just avoid this place.

Unfortunately, the lot behind the hotel is not owned by us, and we are unable to make changes to the old tennis courts.
