Great hotel, just at the beach. Very friendly service, outstanding food at the restaurant. Very cozy, small boutique hotel.

This is definitely a gem to Bohol. The resort is petite, and the service was excellent. The swimming pool is perfect and my daughter loves it so much. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and they served wonderful Philippines and international cuisine. The amazing view of the resort and heartwarming hospitality are the highlights of our trip. We will certainly go back

Anda's accommodation, where I stayed for two weeks on Panglao Island. Anda's accommodation boasts a beautiful coastal road. There are many similar resorts nearby, but I chose it because of the rooms. There are only five rooms, so it feels private. The rooms are clean and well-organized. The friendly staff were very helpful. Breakfast isn't included, but it's a great value! They also rent kayaks, and we had some great memories on the ocean. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a few days of relaxation. Unlike other resorts, there's no ocean view from the pool. The beds are really comfortable.

A stay to remember, for a lifetime, wonderful place, impeccable gardens, great pool. And we doubt the most important value the entire hotel team with Joy, Teresa, Maria, we are sorry not to remember all the names, but they made us feel at home. The entire team with excellent food have made the suite, large, spacious, bright and with a huge terrace and with views that are difficult to beat, have turned this place into one of the most special stays of our lives, after having traveled for more than 40 years on 5 continents. Thank you to all.

An old-fashioned place with little water resources, we had some problems here and there. Even so, the location in relation to Anda and the beach is very good. The rooms are adequate and clean. Fair quality-price ratio.

Why this time i choose Casa Amihan ,becuase 3years ago ,we went there ,at that time was so nice ,that is why this time i choose back there during this 3days 2night stay ,only have one family room avaible ,which is fine they tell us is ocean view ,which is completely in front only trees the staying the room have one small window on the top wall ,which doesn't make any sense ,the sunshine and early morning 5am already very bright ,this doesn't matter , when i saw the towel ,is completely broken ,ok ,this not the worst ,since we stay 3days at the second day ,we asking for 2bottles of water ,they refuse to give us ,they said only the first day have 2bottle of water ,the room fee is 5800php per night of family room (without breakfast ),and we cannot request 2bottle of water ,very interesting when we check out ,we explain this to the receiphtion they say ,yes ,that is the rule ,they really doesn't care about customers for me i will never back there
Response from Property: Dear Jeany, Thank you for being our guest again and finding the time to write a review. Unfortunately you were not satisfied with your stay this time, rest assured that we take our guest reviews very seriously and will act on them where applicable. In regard to the broken towel, we sincerely apologize for this mishap, this indeed should have been noticed and sorted out by our house keeping staff. We have already taken action to prevent this from occuring again. In regard to your other points I will try to explain again below. Our staff explained already at the end of your stay when you raised some topics but perhaps there were misunderstandings. Room rate: You booked a Family room but occupied it only with 2 persons. The rate for our family units are in fact very good value as they are intended for 3 or 4 guests occupancy which would have to book otherwise 2 rooms involving considerable higher room rate in total. The fact that you chose to stay with only 2 persons is really beyond our control. Water: We are providing complimentary bottles of drinking water on the first day and provide complimentary purified drinking water in a pitcher on all following days during our guests stay. This greatly helps to reduce trash which I have no doubt would be in every guest interest. Regardless, we provided additional bottle of water after you insisted. The upper room window: Actually many of our guests appreciate that morning light coming in but we do understand that this is not in everybody's interest. We are therefore installing already additional blinds. Ocean view: Our room is indeed ocean view which is quite obvious when looking just 10 degrees to the left, in fact you are the first guest who complained about it, regardless we have taken some steps to clear some vegetation further to maximize the view. The room pictures on our website and published photos taken by guests would certainly confirm this. Your overall score: You decided to give the lowest score possible in all categories, including location. Obviously our location has not changed since you were our guest 3 years ago, in fact if anything then the surroundings (garden, fencing etc.) were greatly improved since then. We are therefore finding it difficult to take this part of your review seriously and hope you will find what you are looking for during your next trips.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our weeklong stay in Bohol. Great experience! I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a smaller property, quiet setting, great food, and easy access to ocean swimming and small, private beaches. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was top notch. About a 10 minute tuk tuk ride into town that the staff can help arrange.

I paid for and stayed in a deluxe ocean view room. There was absolutely nothing deluxe about the room apart from the view of the ocean, The room was very tired and in need of upgrading, Examples of this were threadbare towels fit for the bin, very cheap products (shower gel etc), the lavatory seat was completely discoloured and did not match the other fittings, All of the furniture in the room was old and requires replacing, The photographs on the website do not reflect the current state of the room and were obviously taken many years ago. The food was also of poor quality and basic. I complained to the manager immediately upon checking in who at the time agreed with my comments but thereafter avoided me completely. Overall my stay at Casa Amihan was a very poor experience, Maybe many years ago in it's heyday it was good who knows. The owners need to re-invest some cash into the place. Today there are many other options of accommodation available in and around Anda and I would recommend staying elsewhere.

I made the right choice staying here and kinda felt bad leaving. It's not a touristy area so you'll enjoy a lot of quiet moments and just hear the waves and the birds. Perfect for meditating or doing yoga too. The staff were sincerely friendly and would call guests by their names right away so you'll feel most welcome the day you arrive. Commending Joy at the resto too who was quite chatty too. The place was really intimate and I think they only have 8 rooms available to ensure that it will be a relaxing stay for everyone. I love how the swimming pool was like part of a forest too. White sand beach, no crowds at all and you can go skinny dipping if you wish :)

After extensive research, we could not have made a better place to stay, chill, swim and eat - all in an authentic, tranquil and welcoming environment. Pool awesome. Right on ocean (our room had sea views). Restaurant is best in an area - to the point we never even considered eating somewhere else. If you want a peaceful stay away from the busting resorts, this is your place. I’d say high end of 3 stars - but not once felt the need to want more or change a thing. A 45 min walk from town, but that’s a plus. Cause you don’t really need to leave. Rooms are clean, modern with great A/C and decent WIFI. We loved it!

Best stay we had in the Philippines. Beautiful designed resort ( bungalow and exterior) The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bungalow was super spacious and sparkeling clean. We could rent our scooter immediately at the property. We ate dinner every night in the restaurant and all the dishes we tried were delicious.

We had a great time at the Casa Amihan on Bohol. The rooms were great, the food was excellent and the staff were very good. We would highly recommend this place to others. The location is also very good and there are a lot of other hotels and resorts nearby so you can explore those. The views are also wonderful from the dining area and the patios over the sea. The only drawback is that there is not a real beach, it is mostly coral, so to get to a sandy beach you have to walk over some rock patches, but if you have booties, or go at low tide, it is easy. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

We loved the looks of the hotel online, but when we arrived our hearts sank as we realized the majority of pics online were misleading, the service was terrible, most of the team was rude, our room was dark, the restaurant was disgusting, and there were only 4 sun chairs with a sea view and no beach! The pool was similarly disappointing as it was small and has no views or character at all. Even simple requests such as asking for a pool towel were met with complete rudeness as a large woman then asked me for my room info, shrugged, and never came back leaving me dripping for lunch. The only staff member who seemed to move at a human pace and care about the guests was a nice woman named Joy, but after a few hours we realized that she was the only member of Casa Amihan who seemed to care about the guests. Even their 'beach access area' was full of dead creatures regrettably. All around a terrible experience and we were happy to get out of there!
