Comfy, welcoming staff, wonderful breakfast! I have stayed here a few times, and love it! This time I had time to explore the walking trails through the surroundings woods and in Kittatinny State Park. Serene and just a wonderful walking area!

Irene is an excellent host. She has a wealth of information on the area (sights, restaurants and activities) The full breakfast is delicious! The dining room looks out to the pool area where numerous bird/hummingbird feeders are located. We stayed in Law, a nice room with a king size bed and electric fireplace which gave off nice heat. The Inn is part of Select Registry so you know they meet high standards for their clients. This is our go to place when we want to relax and recharge. We’ve been coming to this Inn for over 15 yrs under various innkeepers.

Our family had a wonderful much-needed mid-week escape from the city after a chaotic holiday season. Irene is a remarkable and impressive host, and her warm passion for her work, community, and people showed in every corner of the house. We had such a comfortable, at-home experience in our room, at the breakfast, by the fireplace, in the living room, everywhere we turned. The cherry on top was seeing our teen with the biggest grin on her face enjoying her breakfast everyday there (and they were delicious!). We look forward to returning for another healing retreat from our busy daily routine.

Where to start with this review ???? Maybe the beautiful grounds...maybe our room with the double sided fireplace to be enjoyed in our room and the bathtub ( of course with a glass of wine).....or the balcony with 2 chairs to sit and listen to the birds.....or maybe the breakfast ( not counting the calories in all that deliciousness). Maybe the inviting sitting room in the main community area. ( we relaxed in those comfy chairs and played a game). No....I think my favorite part was Irene , the innkeeper, and the way she makes strangers feel like friends. We can't wait to go back!! Carol and Rich

My husband and I stayed for an overnight to celebrate my birthday and we had a very nice experience. Our room had a beautiful fireplace and I especially loved the Christmas lights that went all the way around the top of the room to complete the ambiance. Breakfast was delicious and Irene and her team successfully accommodated my dairy free needs. Can't wait to stay again!

My husband and I stayed at the Ampersand Inn to celebrate our anniversary. As soon as you pull into the driveway you are immediately impressed with the beautiful grounds and how well maintained they are. Irene the owner is just a delight. She is so friendly and helpful that she makes you feel right at home. The Inn is lovely, the rooms are beautifully decorated and it is immaculate. In the morning there was a delicious breakfast and conversation with Irene, Alethia who cooked and served the breakfast and with some other guests. I highly recommend the Ampersand Inn. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a wedding nearby. The host, Irene, went out of her way to provide us with a quiet work space, as I had some meetings prior to the wedding event. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, with a lovely fireplace and balcony. The setting is serene, with wildlife and natural beauty. Delicious breakfast and thoughtful amenities throughout. I plan to find a reason to stay there again!

A simply wonderful retreat. We stayed here when we attended the Peter's Valley Crafts Fair. The inkeeper, Irene, is a most gracious host. Incredible attention to detail is paid in every way. Beautiful secluded setting amidst the trees yet not far from restaurants. Lots of very comfy sitting areas for chatting, reading or sipping coffee or tea (always on tap.). We will be back!

My family stayed at the inn for 2 nights - before and after my sister's wedding. The inn is beautiful and newly renovated. Irene, the owner, was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She has a great attention to detail and really goes out of the way to make sure all her guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Highly recommend!
