Small Hope Bay Lodge

Staying at Small Hope Bay Lodge was surprising in a very positive way. The facility had a relaxed, inclusive and adventuresome atmosphere. The staff were engaged with guests and made sure we were participating in the activities that were a priority during our stay. We met many guests who were repeat visitors to the lodge and understand why.

Amazingly beautiful location right on the edge of the turquoise water with mangroves all around. I went for diving and had some amazing trips. the sites are just offshore so the boat rides were only 10-20 min. the divemasters/instructors accompanying me were incredibly competent and safe and also very personable. The meals are buffet style, and outdoors if the weather is good. the culture of the lodge is that all the guests and staff dine together and get to know each other. the room was lovely and clean. when I was there the lodge was only about half full with only adults, so I don't know about other times, but it was very quiet and peaceful on my stay.

Small Hope Bay Lodge has a great location, staff, amenities, room, and atmosphere. It's the best version of quiet relaxation sprinkled with enough outdoor and water-based activities you could ever want. The team there are kind, generous, and go to great lengths to make sure each person enjoys their stay-- whatever they might be looking for. The rooms and main building are clean, tidy, and inviting. And probably the best value out there for an all-inclusive there is.

We chose Small Hope firstly as a place to dive and from all the great reviews. It really is as good as everyone says. It's simple and no frills but everything works so well. Great food and drinks (some terrific cocktails!) so if you're looking to lose weight, look away now... The diving was wonderful - great sites, good visibility and managed by an impeccable dive team. Also do go for a bike ride to the inland blue hole - magic. Which brings me to the most important part which is that Small Hope has real soul - everyone that works there makes it special. Everyone is warm, open and friendly and the team takes time to mix and mingle with guests every meal in a way that brings everyone together. It's pretty unique that way and we wouldn't hesitate to come back. Huge thanks to the whole Small Hope team for a super special week xx

Protect this place at all costs. This is the most special place we have ever stayed at and the service was exceptional beyond any 5-star resort we’ve been to. The staff anticipates your needs before you even have them and genuinely cares about you as a person and caring for this special property and bay. Each person here fosters the most genuine sense of community and there’s simply nothing else like it. Not to mention it’s beautiful and you will never get bored with all the available activities even if you have bad weather. Can’t recommend enough!
