Over the last twenty years we stay at this hotel several times a year. It has excellent parking, a beautiful pool, and the staff are excellent- very friendly and helpful especially Marylou and Jean- Marie.

Rooms were larger than other venues on our France tour and well equipped with 2 queen beds, 2 chairs and desk together with large mirror. Complimentary water provided and separate toilet. Shower was over the bathtub which seems to be the norm for a lot of hotels in France. Plenty of light in the room and wi fi was ok with plenty of clothes hangers which was welcomed. Breakfast choices were ok but very few hot dishes. Bacon was dry and scrambled eggs very watery.

Room is spacious for a european standard. Buffet breakfast selection was much better than other hotels in europe. More variety of salads and fruits which is very good. However, room is hot. No AC still. Open window still hot at night. They should turn on the AC

Entrance/Parking 3/5 Unfortunately the area in proximity to the hotel is under construction. Once completed, there will be lots of parking. The entrance to the hotel is spacious, well designed qnd easily accessible. Less than favorable score is purely attributed due to the construction. ————————— Curb Appeal 4/5 Hotel exterior is well designed and has decent curb appeal. ————————— Reception 5/5 Check-in was quick, staff was friendly, great check in experience. ————————— Hotel Room 3/5 Could really benefit from a makeover, outdated and run down. Bathroom needs a serious upgrade. *** room # 238 Standard room with two double beds ————————— Bed Comfort 3/5 The bed/martress is quite comfortable. One of the beds was falling apart, a leg was ready to fall off. *** room with two double beds ————————— Pillow Comfort 1/5 Pillows are terrible, all three of us woke up throughout the night qnd had terrible sleeps due to the terrible pillows. ————————— Heating/Air Conditioning 1/5 We were unable to turn off the heating or change the temperature. Heat was pumping at all hours, we ended up sleeping with the windows open to try and drop the temp of the room. ————————— Internet Cannot comment, we did not use ————————— Breakfast 4/5 Standard but good quality ————————— Other Comments First night of our stay was a Friday night, hotel had tango classes on the main floor. We could hear music pumping all night, late into the night (midnight +). The music was annoying and made falling asleep difficult. We had an early morning. We also had a family with small kids in the room beside us, lack of acoustic insulation, we could here there children screaming and crying. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom and the faucets.

This is the worst Novotel I ever stayed in . It’s dirty the rooms smell the breakfast is inedible. The mattress has disposable mattress covers so you sweat . The bar area is ok . No acknowledgment for being a Diamond member. Very abrupt check didn’t ask why we checked out a day was. Only you can’t get a refund we know that we were not asking for one . Much better hotels around.

Location out from Main Centre not easy to walk into town taxi required On a coach tour so reason for staying Breakfast great food The shower is step up over bath so bit dated room . Didn’t visited swimming pool There was noise outside from party overnight not too loud but could hear it

Wonderful hotel… the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are great. We stayed for a week as wanted to explore the area and this hotel was a reasonable price compared to one’s closer to Biarritz. It’s close to the airport, but you really wouldn’t know as it’s not a busy flight path. The rooms were fine, no balconies , but other than that perfectly good for what they offered. The pool area was lovely. No charges for towels to take there, the pool was the perfect temperature and plenty of sunbeds. We are late risers and breakfast runs from 6-11 which is brilliant, although there obviously isn’t as much choice on hot food the later you go down. The bar is open til late and the staff can’t do enough. They will bring drinks out to your sunbeds too!! The location is great. There’s regular buses just down the road that are free over the summer and got straight into Biarritz or Bayonne. They run very late into the night too. I couldn’t believe how safe they we felt. Everyone uses them and we were coming back at midnight some nights . Honestly that was such a pleasant surprise. Biarritz itself is just such a wonderful part of the world and stole my heart for sure, and this hotel hit all the right notes to make our stay just perfect. Thank you to all the team!!

The common areas of this hotel are truly well-maintained. The pool, gym, and spa are lovely. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms are of poor quality. The carpet is still there, and the cleanliness is very poor. I found it particularly inconvenient that the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower.

Accor is getting worse and worse. Room 279, vacated yesterday morning. The sink drain was clogged. It wasn't a recent problem. I mentioned it upon departure. My contact didn't seem to mind. The parking space is still tiny. The pool closes at 8:00 PM. 190 euros for mediocre service. Hotels in Spain are better quality and much cheaper. Don't hesitate to travel a few extra kilometers.

For the past few years, I've always spent a few days at this hotel in early August: the welcome is always perfect, the restaurant, the bar, the pool: everything is top-notch. Special mention this year to the bar: perfect welcome and attentive service, and a mastery of cocktails that is simply superb! Thank you so much... see you next year!

Very pleasant hotel; clean; very warm welcome; generous breakfast with plenty of choice; superb fitness room and swimming pool; the room is adequate; no problems with the air conditioning;

The hotel appears modern at first glance, but the rooms are showing their age. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, including a small refrigerator, safe, and a large TV with Netflix (you need your own account). The pool area is also very nice, but you would expect it to be cleaned regularly, which unfortunately wasn't the case. The staff are very friendly and speak several languages. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy, and if you're unlucky (like we were), you'll have noisy neighbors. Our neighbor was loud until 11:00 PM and started hammering (literally!) at 5:15 AM. Luckily, we were just passing through and therefore got up at 5:45 AM. The breakfast buffet is okay, but nothing more. The orange juice ran out 10 minutes after breakfast opened, and some yogurt would have been nice. The meat and cheese didn't look particularly appealing. All in all, however, this 4-star hotel is still better than many other hotels in the same price range. The parking lot is free, by the way.
