Reviews of Annabelle Beach Resort

Whilst the staff are fabulous and really helpful this is certainly no five star hotel it’s a three at the most and certainly needs to be looked at by travel agents recommending it. On check in we were given our room card and safe key and no other information at all. Rooms are basic and facilities haven’t been refurbished in about 20 years! The tv was on a side wall around the corner to the bed! Furniture was falling apart the best thing was the air con. Bathroom plastic cups weren’t clean on arrival and towels were two small bath towels that were probably years old too. Don’t even ask about the pillows if you could call them that. The fridge was so old it buzzed and really didn’t keep anything cold. Whilst being all inclusive we’ve used the restaurant 3 times during one time raw pork was served! Food is poor and only the buffet restaurant is open till June despite staff telling us the hotel is fully booked. All inclusive drink choice again is poor and that’s if you can get to the bar only two staff in the evening and one on the pool bar in the day. Everything is dated from the pools, sun beds, spa and the rooms. Apart from one bus at 10am going one way there is nothing else till June the same with entertainment in the evening. Whilst you’re close to the hotel beach which is small and nothing special everything else is a taxi ride away. Whilst Crete is fabulous I wouldn’t return to this hotel again.
