This is my second stay here, and I absolutely love the ambiance and minimalist decor – it perfectly matches my aesthetic. Although the location is quite remote, it completely fulfilled our desire to escape the crowds and just unwind in the mountains. The service in all aspects was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and the ingredients were super fresh. They catered to all our coffee and alcoholic drink needs, so we could just lie around for days without a care in the world. Behind the guesthouse is a whole bamboo forest. In the evenings, there's a bonfire with outdoor movies, and you can even play with sparklers. This time, we were lucky enough to see a stunning starry sky and even enjoyed freshly baked sweet potatoes. Next time, I'm definitely coming back for the hot spring bath. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who's been in the city too long and needs to clear their mind.

The environment is excellent, highly recommend it! The private hot spring was always at a constant temperature, and my baby loved it. Their dinner was absolutely delicious, highly recommend dining here – it's much better than anything outside. I would definitely come back just for the restaurant!!!!

Every staff member at this hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful; any issues were resolved immediately. The view from our window was of the mountains, and the air was so fresh. The hotel's facilities were excellent, and the food was delicious. I hope to stay here again!

The hotel is truly beautiful. We arrived at night during the rain, and a staff member picked us up. It was dark, so we couldn't see much. But when we woke up the next morning, the view outside our window was absolutely stunning! Breakfast was also very rich, and the service staff were incredibly enthusiastic. The only minor drawback is that the guesthouse's amenities are a bit less comprehensive compared to a star-rated hotel. The room and bathroom could use some optimization, but the scenery is absolutely unbeatable.

Such a beautiful guesthouse with amazing views! It was very clean, the service was excellent, and the privacy was top-notch. The bonfire movie night was also really fun! I loved that they have a pool in the summer. I'll definitely be back!

My partner and I chose to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Shanan, and the beautiful environment coupled with the warm service made it incredibly worthwhile!
