Super family friendly hotel. We had good time both inside and outside of the facilities. Highly likely we wanna get back here.

Overpriced family hotel with outstanding views but room for improvement. I reserved the room a week before arrival, which meant the room rate was almost 2000 RMB a night. At this price, I was expecting excellence and arrived to mediocrity. I travelled with a Chinese friend and when we arrived, although the room was booked in my name, they chose to speak to my companion. When I tried to speak, the staff smiled condescendingly and then continued to talk to my friend. I was surprised to receive xenophobic behaviour in modern China, especially since I can converse in Chinese and there are many translation and AI chatbots to assist with communication. We walked to the room and on inspection we discovered the door hinge was broken, dust and hair on the floor, hair on the mattress which was accompanied by a yellow stain (photos 3-7). As the staff couldn't communicate in English, I messaged Trip.com and decide to resolve the issues the following day. The staff had been informed of the poor quality of the check-in and the cleanliness of the room and offered to upgrade us to their sister hotel, Banshanyinzhu Resort. The view from the room (photo 1 & 2) was stunning and the room looked pristine how on inspection the room had not been deep cleaned since either its construction or refurbishment with dust in the high shelves, on the shower head, sawdust behind the bedhead, leftover building materials under both sinks (photo 8-11). We informed the hotel, as we had been given a WeChat, and they came to witness the simple inspection. They offered to move us again but as this was our last night and we chose to stay based upon the views and then went to dinner which the hotel offered as part of compensation for the previous night. Arriving at the restaurant, uncleanness was concurrent theme (photos 12-14) with the dishes not being clean and the lazy suzanne not being wiped down. Fortunately the completely meal for two was well portioned and seasoned (photos 15-18). After a filling and tasty meal, I had a shower and felt a slight pain on my foot to discover that the nails attaching the carpet protruded through and some flooring was broken causing a minor scratch. All of this could have been avoided had the staff been more diligent. Did I overpay? Yes Was the service mediocre? Yes Are these challenges easy to overcome? Yes Have other customers made similar complaints? Yes Will the hotel improve? I hope so Is the location memorable andbeautiful? Yes Would I revisit? Yes Regardless of the fact they have some untrained and unprofessional employees and they need to improve their cleaning standard and ensure that maintenance does a proper inspection after a fit and finish, the location is great and it's very easy to get into the park. It's very family orientated and I'm sure children could make lifelong friends here. If you're considering going, I'd highly recommend price watching. It's not a perfect product so don't overpay, like I did, and expect a 5☆ experience.

Highly Recommended! The hotel offers what it promises and provides quality service with exceptional views! Location ⭐️ Perfectly nested in the picturesque Anji natural landscape! Ridiculously close to the tele cabins to Skyland- which is an adventure land park/hiking/ skiing: Cleanliness ⭐️ The room was very clean and nicely set up. Everything was carefully designed and hygienic. Staff ⭐️ Very helpful! (Despite my limited Chinese). We got an upgrade and lots of smiles!! We definitely recommend to friends!

We had a great stay. The rooms are luxurious, clean and the view was stunning. Very friendly staff, good Western and Chinese breakfast buffet. Delicious coffee. Special thanks to Chun-Yu Yang for her help and support.

It was really nice for kids and adults both … the service was fast and very hospital … the breakfast was suitable for international ….and night we enjoyed bbq…. swimming pool and hamsters and glass bridge nearby and many things nearby to let u relax and enjoy some days

The hotel is beautiful and rooms are nice, modern and very clean. Thebstaff is super friendly and goes out of their way to help. Our Hotel contact was Vera. She was very helpful and really quick to respond to our requests. They are all so great with children … this hotel will be my to-go hotel in the future when we travel to Anji. The hotel is close to the Sky Land Scenic area (5 minutes ride) and the have shuttle buses going there very often. They are building heavily in the area….is not loud though, but you can see new hotel constructions around.

The room is quite big and the kids like it very much. The tatami mat can also accommodate the three adults. It is very comfortable 😌 What makes me even more satisfied is our butler Xiao Gao. The service is very thoughtful. If you encounter any problems, you can find him and solve them immediately👍

Squirrel Tribe Hotel is very suitable for parents and children to take their kids out. The hotel has mature supporting services and a butler who provides full tracking services, including check-in, shuttle bus dispatch, cableway docking, etc. The Squirrel Park downstairs also has many projects and cute squirrels. The baby's favorite is the roller coaster. The package includes two days of cableway plus skiing. Unfortunately, we encountered strong winds on the second day and were unable to go skiing on the mountain. Fortunately, the butler Xiao Hu provided considerate service and handled the problem in time. The flying car and panda cable car in the nearby Panda Park are also very interesting. There are many small animals at the foot of the mountain. It's just that the weather is too cold. It's suitable for spring and autumn to play.

The hotel service is good and well organized during the peak period. The environment and facilities are also good and the children like it very much. Skiing delayed the time and the check-out was a little delayed. The housekeeper Sun Peng actively coordinated and was very considerate. Express your gratitude!

First of all, I would like to thank Xiaohang for contacting me as soon as I placed the order. He added WeChat to send the location and check-in process. He answered all my questions and explained patiently. He also sent me the entire ski check-in process, which was very detailed. I am really grateful to Xiaohang for his patient and meticulous answers. Because it was the off-season, he upgraded me to a parent-child room. The temperature in the room was also very comfortable. Except for a little odor in the bathroom, everything else was really perfect. There was a large terrace outside the door, and the air in the mountains was very fresh. There were also cute little animals in the squirrel park downstairs, which was very suitable for playing with children. It was also very close to the Yunshang Grassland Ski Resort and the Panda Tribe, and there was a shuttle bus for pick-up, which was really convenient. Every customer service staff in the scenic area greeted me with a smile, making people feel at home.

It was a three-day and two-night trip. We arrived and checked in on the first day, went to hot springs♨️, skied on the second day⛷️, and played in the Squirrel Tribe Amusement Park on the third day🐿️, and checked out. Families with children don't like to be too busy, they just want to relax and have fun. The butler service is great, no need to make a guide in the dark, our butler Xiaolin will reply no matter what time it is, thank you!! I will arrange to go again next time, after all, it's not easy for children in the south to play in the snow. It's more convenient and cost-effective than going to Harbin, haha.

Very suitable for families with children, close to breakfast and service center, and a few steps to the cableway for skiing. The housekeeper Xiao Hu is very nice. He added WeChat before check-in and informed us of the weather. We set out to ski while the weather was good. There were many people during the New Year, so we checked in quickly. They helped us buy the most reasonable ratio of ski tickets. The room was warm when it was cold. It is the best hotel for skiing with children. I chose it very well!
