Reviews of Bell Tower Hotel

The front desk staff were very friendly. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, everything was delicious. The room was clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. It's basically in the town center, very close to Target and CVS, which made shopping convenient. It's also very near the central campus of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. When I was there, I even caught their music festival, and all the locals came out to participate, creating a lively atmosphere. Overall, I had a great impression.

Positive points: a very conveniently located, small hotel just next to university campus and several restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores etc. Ideal for short visits. It was quiet contrary to what other customers describe. The availability of free breakfast was welcome since it is not a usual amenity in US hotels. Negative points: the lack of a refrigerator! This is actually the first hotel in the last 40 years -that I can remember- without a refrigerator in the room. Also, we could not pull the curtains far enough to darken the room from daylight.  Overall: a good choice for short stays in Ann Arbor. To the manager: please buy refrigerators for the rooms!

The facilities are relatively old. The location is good. The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor is nearby, which is very friendly for people who come to the school for meetings. The hotel has breakfast, but the variety is not large.

The elevator was broken, so I had to walk up to the 3rd floor. There are 5 stairs even to the elevator;; I made a reservation in a hurry, so I stayed there, but I don't know about next time.
