The room was relatively new and clean. The common areas were also beautiful, no complaints there. However, the service response was too slow. The door latch was broken, making me feel unsafe. I reported it to the front desk twice, and each time they said someone would come up to check it. But after waiting for half an hour, no one showed up. When you're traveling, you can't just sit in your room waiting, so I gave up. I figured either they're understaffed and overwhelmed, or their work efficiency is low. Either way, it needs improvement.

Our stay was generally mediocre, with quite a few issues regarding room allocation and service. Due to a flight delay, we arrived at the hotel after midnight. The front desk informed us that we'd been upgraded to a sea view room, but we had already booked a sea view room in the first place. We suspect that the room initially reserved for us was given to an earlier arriving guest. The front desk also told us we'd have to switch rooms the next day, even though our platform booking was for two consecutive nights in the original room type. We asked the front desk if we could at least stay in the same room for both nights, even without an upgrade, but were told there were no available rooms. This clearly indicates unreasonable room allocation management by the hotel. To avoid moving our luggage, we had no choice but to pay an additional 15 euros the next day to remain in the same room. The room itself was a bit small, and the mini-bar setup was basic, only offering tea bags, instant coffee, and mineral water. The decor leaned towards a budget hotel style. On our second day, after spending the day out, we returned to the hotel around 7 PM and requested a room cleaning. We were informed that cleaning services are only available in the mornings and couldn't be arranged in the evening. Paying extra yet not receiving the corresponding room cleaning service made us feel that the additional payment was not worth it. Furthermore, we noticed that staff members treated guests of different nationalities differently. They seemed rather cold towards Chinese tourists but more enthusiastic towards other foreign guests. The pool was supposed to close at 8 PM, yet other guests were still swimming at that time, with no staff member present to manage the situation.

The hotel has its own private beach with sun loungers, which is definitely a huge plus. There's a hammam, sauna, gym, indoor pool in the spa, and an outdoor pool. However, for our entire three-day stay, the Turkish room in the spa (which looked stunning with marble in the hotel photos) was out of order. We asked at the spa when it would be fixed and were told 'tomorrow,' but it never reopened. Our room wasn't very spacious, and the ventilation fan in the toilet was extremely noisy when the light was on. Also, the toilet seat and lid were loose. I specifically booked a sea-view room. The window did indeed face the sea, but it was SO dirty. I really think a hotel should maintain this; there hadn't been rain in a while, so the windows could have been cleaned (I've attached a photo – those spots on the sky are from the dirty window). The buffet was fantastic. I tried some dishes, fruits, and vegetables for the very first time (like purple olives, for instance). There's also a rule that you can't bring food and drinks into your room (I'm not talking about breakfast food, but items from a store), but upon check-in, they didn't even provide us with water, which was disappointing. Overall, the impression is good; the beach and breakfasts were excellent. However, for a Marriott hotel with 5 stars and the price per night, it feels like they should offer significantly better service and attention.

The hotel's decor felt like a budget motel, yet they charged five-star prices. The breakfast was incredibly basic. It really felt like they just slapped the Marriott name on it, but everything else had nothing to do with Marriott. The only highlight was the cliffside beach. There aren't many restaurants nearby either. If you're going to Antalya, I'd strongly recommend choosing Akra instead; it's truly not in the same league.

Rooms: Very good, as expected from Orange Hotels. Pools: They have three swimming options: an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and the sea. The indoor and outdoor pools are open until 7:30 PM, while swimming in the sea is available until 7:00 PM. For sea swimming, free floats are provided, and there are lifeguards on duty. All three swimming areas have complimentary sun loungers and sofas. Service: All the staff I interacted with were very enthusiastic and friendly. One bellhop helped me with my luggage from the moment I arrived until it was in my room, and even explained the room facilities. Water: Two complimentary bottles of room-temperature water and two free bottles of iced minibar water are provided daily. Swim Towels: For swimming, you need to pick up separate towels from the -2nd floor. Losing a towel might incur a 10 Euro charge.

Antalya 👎 Avoid Delta Hotel! Absolutely outrageous and speechless! 🙄 They claim to be a five-star hotel, but in reality, it's barely even a bottom-tier four-star. The service and facilities are incredibly subpar. 1. **Tipping Issue** First, native Turks don't have a tipping culture; it's generally only applied to foreigners, usually accepting Euros or USD. At check-in, the front desk said someone would help us with our luggage to the room. Then, a big guy pushed our luggage to the room, walked *into* our room, and just stood there. I said 'thank you,' but he still didn't move. The door was already closed. He stood there, stiff and unmoving. This was frankly ridiculous and I found it very intrusive. I asked, 'So you won't leave unless I give you a tip, right?' He just shrugged 🤷‍♂️. Then I said I didn't have any small change in cash. He said he could make change! 😂 So I gave him the only 5 Lira coin I had. He was very displeased and said, 'You know this isn't much.' Seriously, you just pushed my luggage up the elevator, a total of two minutes. How much did you expect? Five Euros? Five dollars? 2. **Strict Ban on Outside Food** Coming back in the evening, I had a bottle of fruit wine in my hand. That same tipping guy stopped us and escorted us to the front desk. The front desk told me I couldn't bring alcohol in and had to finish it outside before entering. Fine, I finished it and came back in. Again, the big guy stopped us, pointed at a bag we were carrying, and said 'food no.' He escorted us to the front desk *again*. I explained that these were snacks for our journey tomorrow and we wouldn't be eating them in the hotel, just chips and soft candies. Then the 'mean' lady at the front desk said 'these also no,' and pulled out a hotel rule book to show me. 😂 Wow, I've never heard of such a thing. Why not just put a security check at the entrance? I didn't give her a chance to rummage through my bag. I asked if I could leave them at the front desk and pick them up when we leave tomorrow. The 'mean' lady reluctantly agreed. During this, the tipping guy walked over and started whispering to the front desk. I just waved him away, indicating 'please leave.' The 'mean' lady looked surprised 😮, then they both shook their heads and continued whispering. Wow, for a Marriott property, this kind of service attitude is truly something. First time staying at a Delta, and it's definitely bottom of the barrel. 3. **Bedding** The duvet cover was pilled and rough. The pillows felt like plastic cotton. The towels were rock-hard, like they'd been soaking in disinfectant for ages. The toiletries were also of really poor quality. 4. **Mirror Facing the Bed** Erm, depends if you mind it personally. 5. **So-Called Private Beach** It's actually a very small area cordoned off by buoys. There's no actual sandy beach at the bottom of the cliff; it's just a platform built at the cliff edge, accessible by elevator from the lobby level. The water is very deep. Not recommended for those who aren't strong swimmers, or if you have thalassophobia. It can be a bit dangerous when the waves are big. **P.S.** We stayed at other hotels before and after this one and didn't encounter similar issues. Luggage assistance was always proactively offered, and there was certainly no shocking phenomenon of trying to search our bags for outside food upon entering the hotel. The Turkish people we met on this trip were generally very friendly and helpful; everyone shouldn't worry about them. I hope this review helps others avoid this hotel and prevents anyone else from having an unpleasant experience.

The room with a partial sea view looks like the photo (the nearest building is under construction, and there's always some work going on). You have to really strain to look out the window to catch even a glimpse of it (photo #1). As a gesture of goodwill, a hotel of this class provides guests with disposable slippers, two 0.4L bottles of water daily, a sachet of the cheapest tea (once only), shower gels and shampoos, and that's it. Blatant cons for guests: *Breakfasts didn't change all week (only a couple of items changed throughout the stay). *During peak heat and humidity, the hotel provides 2 bottles of 0.4L water per person per day and prohibits bringing water from outside sources. Consequently, you have to buy it from them at 120 Lira for 0.4L of "premium" water, which costs no more than 30 Lira across the street. *The hotel has an interesting rule prohibiting guests from bringing drinks and food into the hotel. However, nowhere do they state that Turkish law only regulates perishable goods, not absolutely everything, as they wish. So, if you're returning with basic Turkish goods (chocolates, alcohol, coffee, etc.), you'll be stopped by security and searched in the lobby of your own hotel, in front of everyone. Staff will try with all their might and with a group of people to confiscate your belongings to an unknown storage location, with no clarity on where. *Room, cleanliness, and housekeeping -The room itself isn't large (it fit a bed, a chair, a small table, and an armchair; the mini-bar was empty and not refilled; there was a TV, AC, hairdryer, iron, and a kettle for tea and coffee, but you won't find a single utensil for making tea in the room). -Cleaning happens while guests are at breakfast. Water can be brought at any time they wish (whether 8 AM or 11 PM). They try to make the bed and empty the trash can; there's no talk of wet or dry cleaning. Towel changes are very strange; out of the initial 6 towels (2 for shower, 3 for hands, and 1 for feet), due to replacements, by the end of the stay, only 1 shower towel and 1 hand towel remained. -The toilet is combined with the shower. The door doesn't close; it's a sliding door. The shower has a strange wall, so the entrance to the bathroom is always flooded with water after a shower. In summary: Pros: Outdoor pool Indoor pool on the -1 floor Hammam, sauna Restaurant and bar staff View of the hotel from the back Cons: Mediocre cleaning, lack of basic amenities in the room, empty mini-bar, absolute incompetence of staff regarding hotel rules, combined shower and toilet, pool, hammam, and sauna access until 8 PM, descent to the sea via a rusty, wobbly ladder that guests have cut themselves on multiple times in front of me; gradual entry into the sea is also absent; prices for the entire hotel menu are inflated by x5 (for example, the price of two cocktails equals a good lunch or dinner at a nearby cafe or restaurant). Due to such high prices, the cafe, restaurant area, and bungalows are always empty in the morning, at lunch, and in the evening. Nothing but cocktails is ordered here. The location is far from decent beaches and interesting streets.
