Amazing little hidden paradise …. Like living in a private Manor House . Elegant rooms , super restaurant…. Very helpful staff . It’s completely relaxing and impeccably clean … I really loved this hotel . Very comfortable linen and bathroom products.

From the glass of Prosecco at check in, to the turn-down service at night, everything about our stay was marvelous. The solicitous staff is amazing. There are excellent restaurants within a ten minute walk, but the star of the show is the Michelin restaurant in the hotel. Over-the-top superb.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of old Antwerp. Easy walk to the tourist old town & also to the destination Resteraunts in the locality & fashion district. Very professional staff who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Communal areas & rooms beatifully designed & detailed. Cleanliness 10/10. Bar/brasserie food & drinks were excellent. No reason to stay anywhere else in Antwerp. We will be back

Excellent standard of service and a great team looking after guests. I've stayed there since the hotel opened 6 years ago and is my second home. Great bar and small garden food is superb. the rooms are always very clean and fresh. It's perfectly located for visiting the old town no more than 10 minutes away

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Antwerp. A few points: parking is expensive and : €25 at a parking 300m from the hotel. Our room was very small overlooking a wall. They say breakfast starts at 7am but we had to wait 10m which made us rush breakfast. They have an amazing Michelin star restaurant which we loved. For the size of our room we felt we the price-quality ratio was not great this stay.

We would not stay again for the following reasons: the hotel lobby, breakfast area, and staff were excellent, but our room was a huge disappointment. It's important for you to know that we traveled with our three-month-old baby, so the hotel room was crucial as we spent most of our time there with the little one. Firstly, we had indicated that we were coming with a baby. Nevertheless, there was no crib provided. When we asked for one, they did bring it but did not set it up with sheets. Fortunately, I had brought some sheets myself, but I found this unpleasant. Additionally, the mattress was plastic. I understand this is common in most hotels, but for a hotel with such a rating, I expect more. Babies sweat in them, but they also don't breathe at all, posing a risk for SIDS. It doesn't seem like much effort to invest in better quality mattresses. But our biggest disappointment was the room itself. I had to pay 230 euros for a family room even though we were traveling with a baby. I thought it might be necessary, but upon arrival, we found out we had two rooms. This was completely unnecessary since the baby obviously wouldn't be in another room. So, I believe we could have taken a standard room, which was much cheaper. But even then, the room we got had no window. Okay, there was a window, but it overlooked a high wall of a very small courtyard. So, no natural light entered the room, and it felt like sleeping in a bunker. This was extremely unpleasant. I don't think such a room should be offered at the same rate as the others. It should be cheaper, and it should be mentioned that the reason is the lack of natural light. Then at least you can make the choice yourself. I wouldn't choose such a room, but at least we would have had the choice. Now we paid 230 euros to sit in a bunker. Additionally, we asked for a late check-out. Believe me, not because we wanted to stay longer, but because it was necessary with our baby. For this, we had to pay an extra 30 euros. And when we expressed our dissatisfaction at the reception, we only received a 'oops,' and that was it: so, I didn't find the stay worth the money at all. In my opinion, they score low in terms of value for money. The breakfast was good but too limited, especially for 30 euros per person. We wouldn't go back.

Excellent location of the hotel near the historic center. Beds are amazing. The bathroom is very pleasant (after one day in the cold). The breakfast is incredible. The hotel is very quiet. The only remark is : during the night we stopped the AC for the noise but the noise didn't stop completly, leaving a noisy background.

It is potentially a very nice hotel, built in what was a bank, spacious entrance, nice courtyard for sitting outside, very clean and well located. The bathroom was excellent and so were all the fittings. BUT the road on which it is situated has been dug up to such an extent that it looks like a war zone. Not only no traffice, but a really dangerous walk on what is left of the sidewalk, rubble, metal plates placed over parts of it, even a great big hole over which one was supposed to jump - I turned back to the end of the road. It is quite a long walk to get to an open road, and there is only one place to cross over, if you are brave enough. That means no parking, no taxis to the front door, you'd have to carry your case from around the corner. I don't think many municipalities would allow construction work as dangerous as this for pedestrians. I would avoid it until the building works are over. M oreover Antwerp suffers from being a cycle-priority city. No taxis seen cruising, very few cars, cyclists and scooter riders plough straight through pedestrians everywhere, especially on the main shopping street, so you really have to look out for yourself. The consequence seems to be many closed shops, few cafes, a dead atmosphere in this area, which was just north of the main shoppig street, Meir, and close to the university. Breakfast was good but pine nuts or something similar were scattered over everything. There was fruit salad, mostly melon, but a lack of fresh fruit even at the height of summer, not even a banana. Background music playing at breakfast. The bedroom, advertised as "cosy", was tiny, you had to skirt sideways around the bed and the wardrobe was about 12" wide.
