Anna's House

We booked the Hotel for 3 nights.Hotel was overbooked. In the 3 days we could not actually move into our booked room. We had to move 3 times!! Customer service is non existant and the staff does not care about the customer`s desires. Manager Yiannys refused to talk to customers and acted like a real, i mean real ***** At the end we accepted a free night in the apartment building from Anna s house in town without a pool. The pictures in the internet do not reflect the true appearence of Annas house, which was only 1 out of 4 hotels that they use. Every day people complained and were moved from hotel to hotel with golfcarts. It was impossible to miss all this happening. Never had a worse situation than this in my whole life.

What stood out most was the kindness of everyone working here. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations throughout our visit, we always felt valued. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The property has a lovely, relaxing feel and made our holiday even more enjoyable.

The property combines comfort with authentic Cretan hospitality. Everyone was warm and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The gardens and pool areas are beautiful, and the location provides easy access to everything Georgioupolis has to offer. We had a fantastic time.

Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. Our room was spotless and refreshed to a very high standard. The bed was comfortable, and the entire apartment felt fresh and inviting. The peaceful setting made it easy to relax after exploring the local area. Highly recommended.

We traveled with family and found Anna’s House ideal. There was plenty of space, the facilities were excellent, and the pools were great for all ages. The atmosphere was calm and safe, and the staff made everyone feel welcome. It is easy to see why so many guests return here.

Anna’s House exceeded our expectations in every way. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with flowers and greenery everywhere. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The atmosphere felt peaceful and relaxing, while the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the pool area and the short walk into the center of Georgioupolis. A wonderful place to enjoy Crete.

Really enjoying our stay. Villas are great as are the breakfasts in the main building. Barman, yanni (sorry if this is the wrong spelling), is such a character. Really need more people to use the bar facilities in the evening. You won't be disappointed. Even had a visit from the local sheep during our stay which was entertaining. Only on Greece. Our only gripe and this is more to do with Jet2 possibly miss-selling the accommodation but we booked a 2 bed villa with a 'shared' pool at a premium. Our pool has 4 villas around it yet it seems anyone who only booked the cheap accommodation feel they can use the villas shared facilities. I know Greece is more relaxed about this having holidayed over 15 times to these lovely islands, but usually on the condition that you buy food and drink, however there isn't anywhere on the Sunday Beach resort to purchase anything. Just be aware you will not receive what you pay for and that in the high season sunbeds you believed to be for your use will probably not be available.

The staff were very welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for us. The bed was extremely comfortable and also the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything immaculate throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The location was very close to the beach.

Booked for my birthday, but have come away less than impressed. The location is good, away from the village, road was noisy at times, but then this is Greece. There are 5 separate buildings to Annas House, we were down the road in Sunday Beach. There are no facilities other than the pool, if you want the bar or breakfast then you go to main building. House keeping is good, building maintenance isn't. We had no light in kitchen area and the lights on the extractor hood didn't work either. With the dark orange wall and black floor tiles the area was gloomy to say the least. The bathroom was similar with a single old fashioned CFL. The kitchen light issue was reported but not fixed in the 10 days we were there. Outside there are wall lights hanging off, one taped up with what looked like packing tape. Glass panels on two of the balconies were broke and handrail posts missing. There was also taped up wires hanging from the sliding door frames in the apartment, which was to do with the air con (won't work unless door is closed.)
