My stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing overall. While the room was very spacious, it felt too large for my needs and lacked the cleanliness I expected. From the lobby to the elevators and even inside the room, the property did not appear well-maintained.
The facilities are quite outdated. The bathroom light switches were difficult to use and not user-friendly, and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Housekeeping service was also lacking—they only removed the trash but did not properly clean the room during my stay.
I also experienced an issue with the safe deposit box, which was not working. When I requested assistance, it took over an hour for staff to respond, which was frustrating.
Customer service, unfortunately, was one of the biggest concerns. The front desk supervisor, Ryan, was not helpful and came across as rude and dismissive. He did not handle guest concerns professionally and was unwilling to escalate the issue or allow me to speak with a manager, stating that the manager was not available. This raised concerns about how guest issues are managed at the hotel.
Additionally, several elevators were out of service, making movement around the hotel inconvenient, and the overall atmosphere of the property felt dark and outdated.
On a positive note, the food served at the hotel was excellent. However, the staff overall seemed unmotivated, which affected the experience.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Arcadia or Pasadena due to poor cleanliness, outdated facilities, and unsatisfactory customer service.
