Loved being near AT&T Stadium. The hotel is close to Texas Live with several dining and nightlife options available nearby. Free parking at the hotel is included with plenty of spots. Nice restaurant and bar onsite. Will stay here again.
Aloft Dallas Arlington Entertainment District

I stayed at the Aloft Arlington to go to a Dallas Cowboys game. The hotel recommends Best Majestic Transportation. Corey is the person that we negotiated with to take us to the stadium. His rate is $25 p/p, which I think is a little expensive. I was going to use UberXL for 4 of us. Uber would have been $11 to the stadium. The problem is what would the return trip cost. We negotiated a price less than $25 p/p. Corey is a nice guy, very personable. What he is not, is professional. He transported several people to the game, so I’m trying to figure out how he’s getting everybody back to the hotel. Turns out he has a 20 passenger bus. Didn’t tell us that. He took us to the game in his SUV. After the game when we got to the pickup spot, we expected to meet Corey, not a bus. Ok, no big deal-get us back to the hotel. Now there’s this COVID thing going on and places are at limited capacity. The sign on the bus stated “no more than 10 people.” There was 17 and he tried to put more on, but it was a family of more than 3 who didn’t want to be split up. I checked the price for Uber for the return and it was $26. The cost of the Uber would have been less than what we paid Corey. I also noticed parking in the area of the stadium for $30. Lessons learned. Go with your first thought and don’t over think a situation. The rating of 4 is for the hotel. I’d give Best Majestic Transportation a 2. For the price we paid, the service was truly lacking. The hotel overall is OK. I’m not a fan of the ultra modern design. The location is great and the staff is friendly.
Ranger Inn & Suites

Typical motel. Very friendly people there. The motel is already a little older and slightly drew off but still fully ok. The walls are quite thin. When I wear there had the leisure park closed and there were few other guests there. There are certainly better accommodation there, but for the $70 I paid it was a luxury hostel for me.
Residence Inn Dallas Arlington South

We had four families staying here for Spring Break. We chose this place because it was close to Six Flaggs, had a basketball court and indoor pool for the kids to play in. Court was great the first night, but second night was overloaded with a church group from the adjacent hotel, that they share the court with. No problem, so the kids can go in the pool, nope, it was freezing and indoor! Apparently the heater for the hot tub was broken, I assume it heats the pool too. On Wednesday we were told it would be fixed and still wasn’t on Saturday when we left. But at least we had the basketball court. First night our large group was able to hang out in the courtyard. Again fire pitt wasn’t working. And never got fixed while we were there. Last night was colder but there was enough room for us to spread out in the lobby. Snack for purchase area was good, they probably should have planned on stocking up since it was spring break for most of Texas. But kids could still find a few things. Breakfast, eggs every day, they were good. A different protein every day. Typical waffle maker, muffins, cereals, milk. No potatoes, and no fresh fruit. Fruit cups don’t count. That was a surprise. I’ve always seen bananas and apples at free breakfast buffets. Staff was nice. The guy there the first day, Joshua?, he was extremely nice, helpful, courteous, great guy. Two bedroom suite was great. Not new, not too old. Clean. Kitchen was stocked with a few things you may need. But bring large trash bags and dish soap for washing dishes if needed. Fridge has an ice maker. Beds were fairly comfortable. Pillows were all different types so you can hopefully find one you like. Location was great for restaurants and felt fairly safe. We would stay there again. Just hope the pool items were fixed.
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Arlington Ballpark / Six Flags

The hotel is in good distance to the AT& T Stadium. The staff needs to take more care in making sure the rooms are clean before the next guess enters. Also, look at towels before putting them in the rooms. There was hair on one of the towels that looked like some ones purvit hair that was down in the towel. One of the sheets was stain. Food was left in the refrigerator. I made sure to lysol the room for germs because I was not sure how sanitized it was. When we got in the room later that night it was to late to change rooms. We almost slept sitting up. The next day the front desk had some one to come change the sheets and clean the room.
