Nice hotel, good breakfast and good variety at dinner, lovely staff. Located close to the seafront and the beach. Rooms comfortable, perhaps beds a little on the firm side. Pool looked nice and seemed to be well maintained. I would recommend this hotel .

We had a lovely holiday at this hotel, it was very clean and the pool was brilliant. Our 10 year old was able to stand up at all points in the pool and you were aloud inflatables. Our room was upgraded when we arrived to a family room. We had a very large bed with a double bunk bed above and a Slide for our son to get down which he thought was amazing. Kids club and entertainment was disappointing for what is advertised as a family hotel. The kids club is definitely aimed at much younger children and from what we could see was mainly colouring in. The daytime activities varied, there was aquafit and pool games and most days there was a bouncy castle put up for younger children. The food was OK, Breakfast was your standard continental style, bread, cheese, ham, fruit etc there was also a cooked option if you wanted it plus pancakes and donuts. Lunch and evening meal in the main restaurant was a little repetitive and not a lot of choice for younger children. Nowhere to get your own drink so you had to wait for table service. The Pool bar had a good range of snacks the Burgers and toasties were definitely big favourites for us aswell as the ice cream. The hotel was in a great location we went for walks most days and there were a good range of restaurants close by, lots of little shops, a small mini market and there was a lidl in the town area ( walkable from the hotel) If you don't want to walk there is a Land train that picks up just outside of the hotel, it costs 4 euros and you can get on and off at stops on the route. Tip.... Get your sunbed early, people reserved beds and then didn't use them! If your looking for a daytrip Zoomarine was amazing, the dolphin show and the birds of prey were brilliant. Also take a boat trip to see dolphins and the caves they were beautiful.

Just returned from a week here, the hotel is a fantastic hotel with everything you can want in a hotel, indoor pool, large outdoor pool, nursery, snack bar, and rooms cleaned every day. The staff are excellent and do anything for you. The down side is only one bar for drinks and selection now extremely poor, very limited in spirits and draught drinks like Fanta taste rotten. Food choice was varied but mostly served cold as the buffet didn't seem to keep food warm at all. Breakfast was dire with thin slices of a spam like product being called bacon, I ate omelette most mornings as freshly cooked for you. These may be due to the hotel closing on our last day of our trip so may not be accurate for the main season. Also the location of the hotel is surrounded by nothing, 500 yards to a lovely beach with nothing to do on it, 800 yards to shopping, if you like Lidl. If a relaxing break with nothing to do this may be the one for you.

I was part of a walking group with Involved Holidays and we stayed 7 nights. It was towards the end of their season and we benefitted from less people in the restaurant as well as a reasonable choice of food. The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff very efficient and cheerful. We did not see any of the Management during our stay. I swam in the indoor pool but found it rather shallow for swimming. A bit too cool for trying the outdoor pool. I would happily stay here again.

2nd year of going to this hotel, and another great holiday! They have made the pool shallower (it’s now 1.40m deep instead of 2m) which was good for the kids, but STILL too cold for me to go in! Everyone was saying- the pool really should be heated. The I for heated pool was small and perhaps over chlorinated as the kids hair and costumes went a bit green. But it would be 5* rating if outside pool was heated! There isn’t any reviews I could find here for the onsite restaurant Massa Fina, which you get 1 meal in if you stay for 7+ nights. Otherwise you have to pay to eat there. I’ve included some pictures, but overall it was quite nice and good for a break from the all inclusive food. Pizza was like a cream cracker, but tasty. Spag bol was also tasty but a little soft (like a tin of Heinz). Garlic bread was also on a cream cracker like base and not very garlicky. Only complaint was the bana and cho pizza for the kids, it was on a raw pizza base that smelt and tasted raw. So not very nice. In conclusion, we love this hotel- and the beach is only 5 mins away. There isn’t much to do along the main ***** just a few gift shops and a very nice coffee shop, so be prepared to spend your time fully in the hotel. If it rains, you’re a bit stuck but the snack bar is nice and can hang around in there. Inside pool is warm but but scabby, really wish outside was heated. Great stay and would recommend!

We stayed for a week on an AI basis. This was the 2nd time we’ve gone for AI and I am very pleased we did. I love fresh food, loads of salads and freshly cut fruit and this hotel had abundances of good quality food. If you want pie, mash and mushy peas then this isn’t the place for you. Thursday night is seafood night and I really enjoyed the oysters, clams, prawns etc. another night the theme was tropical fruits. Every lunch time and dinner they cooked fresh steaks and/fish. I loved the steaks. For me the food was simple, fresh and well cooked. Lots of choice. The apple crumb and custard was also another one of my favourites. We’ve been back a week now and I miss the delicious food so much. Staff in the restaurant couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was always kept very clean and the small fridge restocked daily. It did get busy round the pool as we went during half term but there seemed to be almost enough beds for everyone. We are not sun worshippers so happily sat in the shade reading a book. We met some many lovely people in this hotel and now have lots of new friends on FB. The walk to the nearest beach is about 5 minutes and if you walk on to the main beach area near the fishing huts there are boat trips you can go on. We went with Aurora. Please check out my review for this company as you do not want to miss going on a boat trip to the caves. It’s also worth walking to the caves which are to the right of the hotel. BUT you need to go on a boat trip to see inside them. My only gripe would be with the reception staff at this hotel. We asked a couple of days before we were due to leave if we could keep the room and kept getting told to come back. To be honest they didn’t seem very organised and weren’t very helpful. Eventually we did get to pay to keep the room but not without being told to come back to the desk and ask several times. I really don’t think this was very professional and seemed as though they were being awkward for the sake of it. The manager at this hotel was a lovely guy, couldn’t be more helpful and always had a smile on his face. Overall I loved the area Armacao de Pera as it still retains its Portuguese village charm. We did go to Albufeira for the day but didn’t enjoy it as much. More like Magaluf. But each to their own. If you want night life that’s the place to go. The entertainment at this hotel is very basic. It didn’t really bother us though as we were usually chatting to other holiday makers in the evening. A few more good singers on would be good. However I thought for the amount we made this hotel offered excellent value and one day we might return…….

Our short break at this attractive, international, family-oriented chain hotel in the charming town of Armação de Pêra had its ups and downs. The majority of the staff were helpful and attentive, and the facilities, for the most part, met our expectations. However, a mistake made by the tour operator, and the inappropriate, aggressive behaviour of some of their guests left a bitter taste. The food was a highlight of our stay, with excellent culinary offerings. Unfortunately, the restaurant could be chaotic to navigate, and some guests did not maintain proper hygiene, which detracted from our overall dining experience and left me very unwell. Furthermore, the outdoor dining areas were not up to par, unclean with bird droppings, which made outdoor dining less pleasant. On the bright side, the outdoor pool was lovely, even during peak times, though the health area and indoor pool could use some refurbishment and a thorough clean. Maintenance work was needed, but poorly prioritised/scheduled and disruptive. While the entertainment didn't align with my personal taste, families seemed to enjoy it. The hotel's location is undeniably a major plus. Armação de Pêra is a friendly, authentic, and relaxed town, and Albufeira is just a stone's throw away, cheap to visit in an Uber. Regrettably, the cost of our stay was relatively high, and the lack of security and some unruly clientele has left me hesitant to return (especially during peak season with the same tour operator). However, I would still consider staying with the same hotel chain again, provided it's a direct booking at the right price of course. All in all, our stay had its pros and cons.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Very clean, really spacious rooms and lovely views..so many things for the kids to do. The reps and entertainment was brilliant. Lots of food options throughout the whole day. The staff were all so lovely. Our best family holiday ever and we will be back next year without question. We can't wait to return.
