We stayed 3 nights in the smallest of rooms on offer at this property. The room was immaculately clean and well fitted out. It had a very comfortable double bed, table and 2 chairs, fridge and microwave as well as kettle, toaster and crockery. Shampoo and conditioner as well as soaps were provided. An ironing board was supplied on request. There is also a luggage rack, which was essential in such a small room. The room had a large air-con, which is also very important in a windowless room. The one downside was the size and lack of window in this room. This did not bother us at all for the first two nights, but by the third night I was feeling confined, so I would only recommend this room for a max 2 night stay. I would happily stay at any other rooms on the property though, as I'm told they were larger and have either windows or skylights. Very friendly staff and service was tops!

The hotel was nice and for $100 a night it was perfect. After a long road trip, it was just what my partner and I needed. It has a nice pool on site and a relaxing spa to unwind and chill. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, especially when the curtains were shut! The room was completed with an amazing soft bed and comforting pillows. The TV in the room was a bonus, allowing us to zone out and switch off for a bit. The staff and reception were lovely, and happy to help out whenever we had a query or issue. There was plenty of parking on site as well, which made the experience that much more simple. The bathrooms were also spacious and nicely done with a refreshing shower. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone living in or passing through Armidale!

Excellent motel, clean and well appointed although our room did not have a luggage rack even though there was space for it - bit difficult to get things from a suitcase on the floor. Restaurant food was excellent although a bit on the pricey side - it would attract more mid week custom if prices were lower which includes drinks.

Welcome to Granny's! This motel room had it all - an old fashioned dining table and 2 chairs, 2 oversized lounge chairs, 4 mirrors (2 ornamental), 5 antiquated framed prints, 1 large fake rose in a pot - a la funeral parlour, 2nd hand books for sale ($20!! for 3 nondescript titles you would pay 50c each for at an Op Shop), some random magazines in a fanned display. Floor space - forget it! Suitcase storage - forget that too because other things had been placed on the built-in ledges. Oh! There was only one bedside lamp - we had to request an extra one (office desk lamp provided) - and the existing one was so dim as to be unusable. The main room light was about 25w on the pre-LED scale. The car spaces were lined up so someone else's vehicle was directly outside our door - ours was further along. All up, this motel was OK, (quiet, 5 mins drive from town centre) but showed that it is easy to play around with decoration and mess up the functionality of the room. It doesn't need the table and chairs...or...it doesn't need both lounge chairs - either way it needs more floor space. It really needs a spruce up - bathrooms are aging, other appointments also, and for these reasons you should look elsewhere in Armidale for lodgings.
