Comfortable and quiet, with nice rooms and public areas, good bar service and decent food. Worth a stop if in the locality. Parking is handy, and access to the road network is good. We had too little time to sample the gym or pool.

Unhelpful staff on reception, parts of the hotel not open rooms dated and some furniture and fitting broken. No views from the bedroom to the location of the windows. Lack of elevator to access the room coupled by no help from the reception staff

The location is great, in a little village, easily accessible, superb views of the mountains, and in an area full of resources for hiking and medieval art. Additionally, as usually happens with Paradores, it was a safe bet, that is, everything worked fine, the personnel was quite professional, quality of services, very unique decoration and a singular building. Finally, a very loooong swimming pool. Nice…

I really liked this hotel. I liked our room, it had everything that we needed, including a really great bathroom. I thought the beds were comfortable, it was clean, and I have very few complaints. My husband on the other hand would complain about the lack of air conditioning. He found it got far too hot during the night, and he had a hard time sleeping. My only complaint, is that the pool was very, very cold, despite the hot weather. They would benefit from putting a solar blanket on the pool at night or some thing. Also, I found the bar and restaurant staff not rude exactly but not super great either. The Front desk staff were fabulous. They told us how to reach the hiking trails and gave us lots of great suggestions.

Great property and beautiful surroundings in the prettiest villages you will find. The staff were great and polite but beware if you are there in the hot summer. There is no AC so the rooms can get pretty hot. The pools is also not heated in the summer and can it is quite frigid.

Excellent stay from check in to checkout. Staff are amazing and the food is lovely. The communal areas are well looked after, especially the pool. Don't forget this is near a ski resort so that allows for the very cosy decor, which we loved.

We booked this Parador as we are extremely interested in wild flowers and butterflies of the Spanish Pyrenees and knew that Valarties was an excellent area to discover both. The Parador provided us with the perfect location to visit the valley. Arties has changed over the years of our many visits but still has a charm.
