It's over a kilometer from Asahikawa Station, which isn't very convenient if you have a lot of luggage. But for me, with just a backpack, clean and cheap was enough. There's a sushi restaurant across the street that's open late, and a Genghis Khan barbecue place about 100 meters away. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Overall, it was good.

The basic amenities were provided, and the toiletries were replaced daily. The availability of a coffee machine in the lobby was a nice touch. It was an inexpensive and pleasant stay. It's also very close to the city center, so I'll definitely stay here again.

The Google Maps rating is terrible, but it wasn't too bad. It's worth the price. The building is very old, but the rooms have been renovated and the beds are clean. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's not too bad.

Cheap and convenient, there's delicious and inexpensive sushi downstairs. It's very close to everywhere, within walking distance. If you drive, there's parking available; it costs 1000 per day.

It's small and there's a strong smell of cigarettes, but it's not a problem if you're just staying overnight. Bath towels are available for rent, and there was a clean toilet and bathroom on the second floor that was separate from the room's toilet and bathroom, so I used those. There seemed to be no other guests using the shared space on the second floor, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. It's about a 15-minute walk from the station, so it wasn't particularly inconvenient and it was a good deal.

I tried to contact the hotel four times a day for three days prior to my stay, including the day of my arrival, to inform them that my check-in time would be after 10 PM, but I received no response to my calls (voicemail) or emails. In the end, I contacted Trip.com and they finally sent me instructions on how to check in via email. Since the hotel entrance is locked after 10 PM, it would have been a huge problem if I hadn't known how to enter and how to self-check in. The front desk seemed almost completely unmanned, so I think this is a hotel where you have to figure things out on your own if something goes wrong. It took Trip.com some time to get the check-in information as well, but they were very helpful and sincere until the end, which I really appreciated.

There's a parking fee of 1,000 yen per night. The reception area is small and coffee is available. It looks a bit old. The room is clean and odorless. Importantly, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The air conditioning is warm. The accommodation is close to the main road.

It's neither good nor bad, just a standard, older business hotel. However, since the front desk is run by a single person, it took about 30 minutes to check in and receive a receipt. If you're in a hurry, be prepared. Also, I recommend avoiding this hotel for anniversaries and other special occasions. It's definitely business trip-level. The room was old, but comfortable and usable. The bed was clean. There was a convenience store nearby, and an izakaya serving Asahikawa's specialty, "shinkoyaki," which was quite nice.
