The was a basic hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The plus was the location being in close proximity to shopping and restaurant. We did have an issue with the linens provided in our room. There was a hand towel with make up on it and two towels that were visibly dirty. Fortunately, there were towels that we could use. It did give us pause about using even those that were “clean” considering the possibility that those might be reused. Some checks and measures have to be placed on the housekeeping staff.

My son and I stayed here for a night. I live in the area, but my son was visiting from out of town. They did not disclose the $100 insurance fee that they put on your credit card along with the nights room rate. Days later I am still waiting for this to drop off. Marriott also charged my credit card for a stay at Carolina Beach Courtyard that I cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. Neither of these rooms were inexpensive. Beware.

Great all the way around. Dakota was a great valet. Very friendly, helpful and fast. You don’t meet many people that love their job but he seemed like he did. We are planning our next visit. This time we saw a concert. Next time we will just spend time in the room and enjoy the restaurants and shops near by.

I had a fantastic experience at the Renaissance Raleigh! The accommodations were clean, modern, and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making sure every detail was taken care of. But what really stood out to me was the incredible service from Dakota at valet. Every time I walked by, he greeted me by name and had me laughing with his great sense of humor. Dakota’s friendliness and ability to remember small details like my name really made the stay feel personalized. He went out of his way to assist me every time I needed something, and he’s truly the reason I’m leaving this positive review. The service he provided was outstanding, and he deserves all the recognition!

This was our second stay at the Raleigh Renaissance Morth Hills. We had a great trip and the staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The attached restaurant is great! We like this location and hope to visit again soon.

Great location, nice rooms. We had 15 rooms booked at the Renaissance for a nearby wedding. Joyce in Catering helped me plan a welcome reception for 70 guests and everything was wonderful. And a special shout out to Dakota the valet, he always greeted us with a smile, was a wealth of information and remembered us from previous visits.

Best Valet in town. Go for the hotel. Stay for the parking. Seriously. Fastest valet with the best service. Super fast and using the link to request your car is easy. Like falling off a log easy. Did I mention fast? And friendly. Just fast and friendly.

Nice looking hotel but definitely nothing special. Located at the North Hills Mall amid a great bunch of boutique hotels, the Renaissance itself offers nothing special. The bar is empty and there is no vibe or interesting thing happening. The restaurant has a weird look which is a cross between a city park and a diner. Again, nothing is happening and it seemed closed at dinner and very few people are there for breakfast. There’s a second restaurant attached to the hotel which serves basic Italian food. But they do not allow charges to your room. Breakfast is very basic and the coffee is just not good. If you are an elite Marriott member, there is no recognition and the lounge is closed. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the air conditioning works perfectly. They must be experiencing a towel shortage as my room had just two bath towels and a few hand towels, hardly enough. It a nut shell, the hotel is fine but they just don’t take any extra step to make the stay nicer or more interesting—which is the entire premise of the Renaissance brand. Come for a comfortable bed, but don’t expect anything more.

I checked in on Bonvoy app. I requested a feather free room that am. I got a message at 250 pm stating my room was ready to stop at desk for key. I arrived at 3pm and desk claimed I would need to wait as room not ready. I waited in lobby until 445 pm. I kept asking and stated they gave me feather room, so needed to redo room. I have never waited so long to get room. I assume someone gave my ready room to another client. The elevators in parking garage were also broke so had to find another place near shopping to park temporarily. The rooms didn't have microwaves so couldn't reheat my dinner. Very disappointing stay.

Amazing service and great location! Everyone we worked with did all they could do to help my group when we stayed there. Service is prioritized for everyone on staff. Being in North Hills gives you plenty of options for food and shopping or just a nice walk. Definitely recommend!

Dakota the Valet greeted us at the front door of the Renaissance, and set the tone for our wonderful trip. He was helpful and accommodating. He was cheerful and professional. And then we were so happy that we got to see him when we ordered our car to be delivered on departure, and Dakota was the valet that brought our car back to us at the front door. The Renaissance at North Hills is a hotel location with so much to offer and their staff members like Dakota, make it a truly special occasion, and we felt like royalty !

The hotel was great, my favorite part of our stay was how welcoming and kind Dakota at the valet station! He was friendly, accommodating, and does his job with the upmost professionalism. I love to go places where people enjoy their job and have a smile of their face meanwhile.

This Marriott property was very nice. I stayed here specifically for an NHL game and what an awesome surprise it was that the visiting players were also staying here. The fitness center access was awesome, but it is very hard to find access without walking outside. The indoor pool is large here, and all the staff was friendly.
