Summer 2023 we stayed for 2 weeks at the Garni Golf Hotel in Ascona, just steps away from the Lake Maggiore promenade. The Garni Golf Hosts Rita and “Joe” could not have been more welcoming, helpful and charming. My husband and I looked forward every morning to the generous breakfast cafe—cereals, cheeses, cold cuts, veggies, fresh fruit, and oh so delicious Swiss bread! On top of that Joe remembered every morning which one of us loved Espresso and which Cappuccino! The housekeeping staff was also excellent. The best part was that the rooms were air-conditioned—the summer was hotter than ever! We stayed in 3 different rooms at our request. All were comfortable but the one with the small terrace and view of lake and surrounding hills was a dream!

Wir haben das Wochenende im Hotel Garni Golf in Ascona verbracht. Es wird garantiert nicht unser letztes Mal sein. Das Gastgeber Paar, Giuseppe und Rita waren äusserst aufmerksam und sehr herzlich. Das Zimmer sehr geräumig, die Betten ebenfalls (2 x 1 m breit) und sehr bequem. Auch die Nespresso Kaffeemaschine war ein Highlight und auch die Flasche Granderwasser. Nicht zu vergessen das wunderbare Frühstücksbuffet, der uns jeden Wunsch erfüllte. Alles frisch und liebevoll angerichtet.

Posizione, accoglienza, pulizia ottima. Letto molto comodo. Camera grande. ottimo abbonamento per l'utilizzo dell'autosilo Migros. Ticket Ticino gratis, colazione a buffet di grande qualità. Rita e Giuseppe ti fanno sentire come a casa.

Was für ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel und welch herzliches Gastgeber-Ehepaar! Die Betten sind modern und sehr bequem. Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln im Zimmer vorhanden. Grosse Badetücher und Pflegeprodukte im Bad. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr reichhaltig und super lecker. Verschiedene frische Früchte, grosszügige Käse- und Wurstauswahl. Frühstück ist sowohl drinnen wie auch auf der Terrasse möglich. Das sympathische Hotel befindet sich nur wenige Meter von der Strandpromenade entfernt. Gerne wieder!

Un acceuil hors norme. Une gentillesse incroyable. La propreté et excellent et le petit déjeuner très varié. Il est rare de nos jours de voir une maison d'une telle qualité. Nous allons revenir dans cet endroit idyllique pour passer un superbe séjour. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt

Auch nach Betreiberwechsel weiterhin familiär und herzlich. Sauberes Zimmer, angenehmes Bad. Umfangreiches, nett präsentiertes Frühstücksbuffet. Praktischer Veloraum mit Stromanschluss. Das Hotel liegt einen Steinwurf von Ascona's Piazza entfernt. — Danke Rita und Giuseppe für den schönen Aufenthalt.

GASTGEBER Die Familie ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl im Garni Golf. LAGE Restaurants, Cafes, See… alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Parking wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt (12-18.- / Tag). Das Gepäck kann in der Fussgängerzone abgeladen werden. ZIMMER Hell, gross und sehr sauber. FRÜCKSTÜCK Liebevoll hergerichtet und alles vorhanden, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Herzlichen Dank für die schönen Tage - wir kommen definitiv wieder ins Garni Golf!

Was für ein tolles Erlebnis! Das Geschäftsführerpaar Rita & Giuseppe Monteforte ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet mit allem, was es braucht. Das Frühstück ist genial: alles frisch und der Köse von der Region (Maggiatal). Von allem hat es genug; es wird ständig für Ordnung gesorgt und die Tische sofort abgeräumt, wenn der Gast den Tisch verlassen hat. Der Kaffee schmeckt auch sehr gut. Nichts ist den beiden zuviel. Sie sind immer für den Gast da. Man fühlt sich willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben. Zudem ist das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist top. E-mails werden sofort beantwortet. Besser könnte es nicht sein! Ich gratuliere den beiden zu diesen tollen Gastgebern! Weiter so! Ich war sicher nicht das letzte Mal da!
