Royal Berkshire

We came to visit The Royal Berkshire back in February 2020 before lockdown. We meet the lovely Evie and after that meeting we know we found the venue of our dreams!! And booked straight away!! After lockdown staff had changed and we went through a couple of temporary wedding coordinators. I must say the communication was lacking and I found myself feeling very nervous and not sure who was looking after our big day. Then something magical happened! The Royal Berkshire found the perfect team! And we was met by the Lovely Dominika who invited us in for a chat. We spoke about the day, voiced our concerns and we were heard, listened to and reassured that our wedding was in good hands. The venue invited us to an open evening, where they had revamped the wedding space to update it, we were able to check out the new fresh rooms and try the delicious canapés. Near the time of the wedding we did our menu tasting. We were given a choice of food and wines to try for the big day. 2 months away from the wedding, we was given our personal wedding coordinator for the day it’s self!! The lovely Lydia!! At first I was a little upset that Dominika was not going to look after the day it’s self! But we met with Lydia and fell in love!! She saw my vision my bible book!! And loved it!! The Friday before the wedding we had are final handover with Lydia who was looking after the day of the wedding and Sam who was looking after the evening part of the wedding. The handover was perfect we went through all the details and was happy knowing our big day was in the best hands. The wedding was a big success with no hiccups, Lydia was able to take everything from my wedding planner and make my vision come true. She was a dream to work with and a great asset to the Royal Berkshire family. I want to say a big Thank you!!!! The Royal Berkshire is a home away from Home. With the best wedding team!! A massive Thank you!! To Lydia your an amazing person, you made the final process so easy and made us feel so relaxed towards the end. We had a great laugh with you, keep being you!! Amazing 🤩! Look after them upcoming brides as I know you will. A big Thank you!! To Sam you helped the evening run so smoothly. I wish you all the very best for your upcoming engagement! She will say YES!! An absolutely wonderous wedding day at The Royal Berkshire. I still get emotional thinking about how perfect the venue was. If you are planning a wedding you must go and take a look. The attention to detail, the service, the food, the options to have the day of your dreams are all possible here. From the outdoor ceremony that we were lucky enough to have because of the weather, the day was PERFECT. Seamless and stress-free, they really do think of every single thing for you before you need to. Every guest commented on how friendly and professional every single member of staff were - just so accommodating and helpful - we cant thank you enough. Special mentions to Dominika who is just the nicest and best wedding co-ordinator and Lay who stayed for the entire evening with a huge smile on her face. Every single member of staff contributed to us having our perfect day. Rooms are beautiful, bedrooms are generous and beautifully appointed. THANK YOU SO MUCH

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the Royal Berkshire. All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a 'cool' room in the east wing which was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Our room had a garden view and we enjoyed strolling around the beautiful meticulously kept grounds, as well as spending time sitting beside the pond and fountains. We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package which we felt was good value. The food at dinner was excellent and well presented. Breakfast was buffet style and was sufficient but not exceptional. We would have liked a wider range of hot food as well as having some bread available. The hotel is well located and easily reached from the M25. Windsor Great Park is close by with nice gardens and miles of footpaths. We were even lucky enough to see a polo match. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at the Royal Berkshire. The fabulous weather was an added bonus! We hope to return soon.

Enjoyed a lovely stay over a weekend here; the rooms are large, I had a wonderful garden view, the grounds are very pleasant to spend time in, the staff are without exception friendly and helpful, the bar is a relaxing place to unwind, breakfast is generous with plenty of choices and the hotel itself is in a quiet and peaceful location (minor intermittent traffic noise for some rooms in the East Wing). The only faults I found were that the bathtub was lethally slippery (but non-slip bathmats are provided to help with that) and my room only had an overhead drench shower - no moveable or detachable showerhead, so if you wanted to shower without getting your hair wet it was a game of contortions. That oversight aside, I would happily stay again and bring my dogs next time.

We had a lovely one night stay with family and can honestly say that apart from the weather we couldn’t fault anything. The staff were helpful and friendly the rooms were well appointed modern with a large comfy bed ,pillows and bedding , the food at Fork was delicious and the service very good. It was unfortunate that it rained continuously for our stay and we were unable to explore the grounds which looked lovely and well kept. We will have to try and visit during the summer months so we can enjoy a drink out on the terrace in the sun and checkout the grounds. We will also check next time to ensure we are not there at the same time as any weddings as it can get noisy in the bar and not conducive to an after dinner drink and chat , having said that we just retreated back into the restaurant with our drinks and shut the door , they were clearly all having a great time as they should do on their special day.

Fantastic stay at the RBH for a family wedding. I had several requests before our stay and the hotel staff ensured all were fully met. All the staff were professional,polite and very helpful. Food wise the breakfast was high quality and quantity,although as will most hotels there is a difficulty in toasting bread. The food I the Fork restaurant was above average and well presented. Our room was a tad hot but that would be nitpicking. We will certainly return.

Delightful hotel, very comfortable, what made it for us was the staff were very welcoming and friendly and looked after us during breakfast and dinner, sorry didn't get any names, the gardens were well kept and lovely to walk around, will deffo return 😀

The Royal Bershire Hotel did not disappoint in any aspect. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the hotel is clean and sharp. With modern features and in a chararater building set in lovely grounds. The attention to detail was immaculate thoughtout the dinning room, guest lounge and bedroom. The restaurant food was superbly cooked and presented. Definitely a recommended stay.. Thank you Warren Stembridge

We stayed at the Hotel for 2nights to celebrate my Son’s 21st Birthday. The bedrooms were top quality & were incredibly spacious & clean. We enjoyed a celebratory meal in a private function room & the food was of a exceptional standard. The Breakfast offering is plentiful & healthy & there are various hot dishes available. The Bar/lounge area is delightful & atmospheric. We enjoyed early evening drinks by the fire. The staff were very helpful & friendly. This made us feel relaxed, from the moment we arrived until our departure. We can’t wait to visit again. Would highly recommend this lovely Hotel.
