世間にはあまり知られていない熊本県芦北町・湯浦温泉の一軒宿。外観は昭和ムード満載だが、館内はリニューアルされ、防音効果はない造りではあったが綺麗で快適である。連泊で朝食付のリーズナブル価格で利用。温泉は男女別浴場と家族湯の３箇所。男女別浴場は規模も大きくないが立ち寄り湯も兼ねており、夕方は立ち寄り客の利用もあるので夕方は家族湯、朝の宿泊客専用時間帯に男女別浴場を利用した。源泉かけ流しでで湯も贅沢に注がれ、ぬる湯のつるつるした湯である。朝食だけの評価になるが暖かく美味しい和食で料理の上手な人が作っているのだろうと感じた。サービスも十分満足で、コスパの高い大人向きの宿。
